Awesome legit Korean food, approved by an Asian who grew up in California and has lived in New York too. So I've had my share of great food! I was struggling to find a place in Roanoke that served food reminiscent of home and this place was excellent- fresh with authentic flavors! Have had the Bulgogi Sesame and the Seoul Bird- both are great but I personally prefer the Seoul Bird a bit more. Owners also very friendly and the ambience is cute and clean. Highly recommend! Wow wow wow! Just stopped today for lunch and can't wait to go again. First off they are not in the food truck but in the building behind it. I tried the lunch box that came with your choice of protein, I went with the  bulgogi, vegetable tempura, dumplings, mixed greens, rice, and kimchi. Along with a drink. The quality and taste of the food was amazing. And that's not amazing for Roanoke I would put this up against any Korean food I have had in Hawaii or northern Virginia. There are quite a few items on their menu that I can't wait to try. They have taken traditional Korean food and added their own unique twist but not losing the essence of what Koreans food is. They have done something that is at times difficult to do blend old and new, and do it well. We have loved Hanu Truck for about a year. Their bowls are delicious. Today we tried the lunch buns. We preferred KFC to pork belly. Hoping soon the lunch menu will extend back to bowls and BS bowls. Give 4 1/2 stars simply because I wish there were more seating options. Food is on point! More...

My wife loves trying different food. Â I'm a creature of habit and return back to what I know is good. Â Boy am I glad she wanted me try this location. Â We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon around 4pm to find a very clean location (actually behind the parked food truck). Â It was a bit warm (temperature wise) inside but there was a buzz. People had ordered or were eating at the few counters inside the facility. Â Originally we attempted to order the OG Pork Belly on a bun. It's the one thing on the menu that tickled my senses. Â They were out. Â (Limited availability was on the menu). Â I will have to come back and try to get this because I've heard people talking about it. Â The nice, pleasant, cheerful lady who took our order said that we need to come early if we want to try it. Â Deal!We settled on bulgogi sesame bowl, seoul bird bowl, bunch of bs, and kfd. Â Oh my goodness!!! Â I loved the Seoul bird bowl!!! Â Already I can tell that it'll be a dish I crave. Â The Brussels sprouts (bunch of bs) was absolutely amazing and that's coming from someone who doesn't "choose" Brussels sprouts when other options are available. Â Overall, all of the dishes were amazing but these stood out for me. Â You may find the others to be amazing too. Â In the end, this place is a must try...and once tried...a must return...over and over again! Â Thank you for the amazing meal and we will be back soon. More...
