I read the review and noticed H&W did not get very good ratings but I decided to give them a try based on the few positive reviews I did read. I have to tell you that I am so happy I did. From the very beginning, they were professional, knowledgeable, prompt, and answered all my questions. I was given a more than fair quote and even came down a little more after I received another quote from another fencing company. The sales person Darrel was very polite, extremely helpful especially after I provided him with my Land survey. He saved me from future headaches regarding property lines. He always answered my calls and when he was not available, he would call back within the hour. His office administrator, Michelle, was also very professional, helpful, quick to respond to my emails and very pleasant. Even the field workers were a joy. They were very polite and if something was wrong or questionable, they would bring it to my attention before moving forward with the project. I put in a ranch style vinyl fence and it looks fantastic. The work was done in a timely manner, they cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. They are a great team. What do you love most about your job?
Continuing what my father started back in 1981, I took over after an illness in 1997. I am so happy to be able to still provide affordable fencing in this city I was born and raised. Being a female in the construction business can be hard, but very awarding when I see how happy we make our customers providing quality at an affordable price.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Not inspired, determined to not let my dad (Harold Warren) hence the H & W, down. He worked hard to start this business like many others here after a shift with fencing in the 80's here in Duval. Once he had his stroke, he was heartbroken to not have this, so with my husband encouragement, I stepped up and took over for my dad til his passing in 2006. I just want to make him proud and know that his name still lives on in Jacksonville.

We are determined to offer, affordable pricing, no deposit before the fence is installed. Customers deserve to know they are not being taking advantage of, and trust labors again. We will give you a timely install, great customer service before and after your installation. We offer online financing through our site with Acorn, so no papers to fill out, do at your own time.

We can't install but we can offer, online scheduling of the estimate, we offer e-mailing and texting if your open to those options.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We mostly work outside, so not much to do, we have no problem keeping safe distant from our customers.

We install vinyl, wood, aluminum, and chain-link fencing. Vinyl vendors offer top line vinyl products from Homeland, Barrett, and EverGuard. We offer quality material from a pressure treated wood company locally. Our vendors are top notch aluminum vendors, Ideal, Jerith, Ameristar to name a few. Our chain-link material is local also from Merchants Metals. We provide premium installers to install your perfect fence for security, and privacy around your home. We never ask for a down payment on any type of fencing.
