If you enjoy different people in your house every visit then Graceworks is the place. The turnover rate is HIGH. They say they properly vet them, but they never stick. Only reason I continued service was because one woman was great. They also have poor customer service. 72 hours cancellation notice but they don't answer emails promptly. Doug is hands down the best house cleaner I have ever had. He's both efficient and thorough! It feels like he pays attention to cleaning the whole house rather than cleaning the same things over rand over. Best of all, he notices and takes care of small details that add up to a big impact. If the bottom of the garbage can is messy, Doug cleans it. If the trash can is out on the curb, Doug brings it in. If the sauna rocks have fallen out of the heater, they have been put back in. My husband and I decided we were overdue for a deep cleaning of our home by folks who are experts in the business. I researched reputable (bonded and insured) service providers in the Medford area. It was the astounding Yelp reviews that caused me to choose Graceworks. And that was a good decision. Our cleaner texted she was on the way AND she was right on time. Good start! I walked her around the house and told her what I thought the top priorities needed to be. They included cleaning the refrigerator and the stove and hood, which needed help desperately. In addition to doing all of that beautifully, she did the floors, the remainder of the kitchen, my huge yoga room, vacuumed the carpets, mopped all the tile floors, and dusted everything. At the end of her scheduled time, she gave me a tour and requested feedback. I am so happy. She's coming back on Thursday morning to clean and polish our woodwork with orange oil, which includes antiques from the mid-1800s and the Alder wood kitchen cabinets. What inspired you to start your own business?
I was helping a friend cleaning carpets, all organic and natural carpet cleaning, and a client needed some non-toxic cleaning of the rest of the house. I began cleaning for them and learning about green cleaning products and then discovered the best products and practices over the last ten years.
