Daniel was prompt and affordable. Called for a quote on an old stump, about 3ft radius, asked for a few pics and then scheduled for quote next day @ noon on the weekend, no hassle. Showed up with the equipment ready to get it done, not quote and wait weeks like the others. The grinder was impressive and fast, minimal damage to the adjacent lawn. When I called to setup an appointment for an estimate, Dan answered the phone and set the appointment for 2 days later. He called ahead and showed up on time for the appointment. He gave a fair estimate and scheduled the work to start the next day. He completed all the work that was discussed in 2 days. Even though I wasn't home when the work was being done, he always texted me when he arrived and when he was done (along with sending pictures). Goldstar has been taking care of my tree trimming for over 20 years. Mr Dewitt has taken care of routine maintenance of my trees as well as the occasional emergency services from snow and wind damage. I am impressed by the work done and the care that they take from start to finish. They are extremely careful when trimming near the house, shed and landscaping. The property is always very clean at the completion of the project including making sure that my gutters are clean when they are done. I am always happy with the work and trust Goldstar to keep my trees healthy and looking great. I wish that I had some before pics to post and show the after. The results are always amazing. A friend referred Dan with Gold Star Tree. Dan called me the same day. He showed up the next day (Sunday) he spend a lot of time pointing out what needed to be done. He started the next day. He completed half the job and the next day it rained all day he came back 2 days later and finished the job. He texted when he was on his way both. He requested with I or my wife to be home so we could monitor his progress and give our approval. He and his helper, Nick cleaned up well ( a bonus) both days. I called Goldstar Tree Trimming to get an idea about the health of a few of my trees, trimming and removing a couple of stumps. I see why Dan gets such good reviews. He helped clear my front and back yard of so much overgrown trees and shrubs and gave everything a shape that I haven't seen in years. He even cut a large dead aspen tree about 8 feet from my house with incredible precision and care not to damage anything. He is also very fair in pricing for what he does.
