Gaby D’Amato is an outstanding trainer. As a 66 year-old woman, I have areas that need work. Always having been relatively active, and, in shape, age does take its toll. Gaby assessed my needs without judgement (mostly she did this silently) as we moved seamlessly from one exercise to another. Working out with Gaby has been one of the best things in my life. The amount of positive change I’ve seen in my body is absurd.

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
Firstly, by listening to them. I never force a client to do something they arent ready for. A lot of clients come to me unable to perform certain every day movements such as squatting, lifting their arms over head or bending without back pain. I use my training method to address the source(s) of pain and strengthen the entire body so people can live more effortlessly and comfortably.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Your nutrition is just as important as your workouts whether you’re looking to lose weight, add muscle or just reshape your current figure. 1 can’t happen without the other and it is important to received proper guidance for your specific health and fitness needs
What do you love most about your job?
Having my clients tell me that they can see and feel their bodies changing. I love working with a variety of people from all walks of life. It’s very rewarding to see them make physical and habitual changes.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love creating workouts for people and building genuine bonds with them. While working in a commercial gym allowed me to build great relationships with people, it was unfortunately more sales based than education/training based. I wanted to work for myself to focus more on the training aspect of the job and less about meeting a quota.
