We hired Chef Mitche And his company to create a Street Taco Bar at our corporate offices, and it was amazing how they created all the flavors that they did so quickly for 220 employees. Fresh tortillas and homemade salsa were the highlights for me, and the staff seem to really enjoy the chicken enchiladas. This guy is a thief and a liar who stole money when he catered my wedding. When pricing the service, he pulled the slime ball move of charging me for 125 guests in advance, promising to refund any difference of headcount (about $80/head) for any guests less than that who showed up. I had 114 show up, so when I followed up asking for my over $800 returned, he completely ghosted me. I called, emailed, and left 5+ voicemails, but never got any response. Imagine that from a grown man who professes to be this awesome entrepreneur, when just a bit of research on him and his brands show the exact same story as mine multiple times. We have used G-Gourmet Each of the past four years for a variety of events, and I will not consider using anybody else. Not only is the food outstanding every time, but I am more impressed with their customer service that they provide to us. We do pay a little more to have them cater for us, but they provide so many value-adds that it actually ends up being less expensive to hire them. We hired G-Gourmet for our annual company dinner, and I can't say enough about the service they provided. Our regular caterer canceled at the last minute and we were concerned that we would not be able to find a caterer at the last minute (only 3 weeks before). Every year we throw an annual bbq for a referring office thank you. We have a head count of around 100. This last summer I didn't coordinate with our usual caterer on time. My date was already booked. I was in quite a panic. I reached out to Chef Mitche and immediately heard back from him. From our first phone call, I knew this was going to be great. Chef Mitche has an awesome personality! He made it fun to plan a menu with the theme of our party. Communication was outstanding throughout the whole process. Our company has used G-Gourmet Catering for numerous events, and the food is consistently delicious and plentiful. What stands out even more than the food is the friendly and professional staff. The team is prompt in communication and setup and eager to support any needs that arise. I'm with McKenzie: My organization hired this company to cater an event on 10/29/2022. They asked for a deposit up front while we looked at other caterers, assuring us it was refundable. After we decided to use them they asked for full payment for the cost of the event, again assuring us that any changes that lowered the cost would be refunded. They never sent a detailed contract, just a bill. We paid. The week before the event some of their staff got Covid at another event they were catering, and they asked us to switch from served meals to buffet due to a worker shortage. We agreed, they assured us that the difference would be refunded. Two days after the event they sent us a thank you for our flexibility and a list of the items that would be refunded by Dec 5. I asked for the amounts that would be refunded. They said that would come from accounting, and they had asked accounting to contact me. Nothing. After two weeks I was told that "The exec team has been on the east coast with the chef for the better part of the last 2 weeks on his speaking tour, and they only were back in the office for 1 day last week. They will not be back in the offices until December 3rd, but I will let her know that you would like to know how much your credit will be." I have sent 5 emails since then with no response, it is nearly three months past the date they said they would refund us. I should also mention that at the event, they did not provide some of the items they had promised, and the food, while adequate, was not outstanding. Steer clear of this outfit. I booked my wedding with G Gourmet catering last summer and we have since had to cancel our wedding plans. My contract clearly entitles me to a refund, as I cancelled well outside of the required 30 day notice period. I’ve emailed Chef Mitche and his team countless times trying to get them to refund my contract amount and at first they were somewhat responsive and said that my request had been sent to the director of catering, so I waited a little while to see if anything would happen and nothing did. It’s been more than 2 months now of trying to follow up via email and phone calls (I’ve called their 800-number dozens of times and no one has ever answered) and I’ve gotten absolutely nothing but radio silence. This company is holding more than $5,000 of my money despite the fact that my contract makes perfectly clear that I’m entitled to a full refund. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I never leave reviews. However, G-Gourmet certainly deserves to be recognizes for the excellent food and service they delivered for our event. There are so many good things I could share from my experience working with them, but in summary Chef Mitche is professional, personable and quick to respond. We were in a pinch for time and these guys provided us with 5 (different) custom dinner options within 48 hours and well within our requested price point. Mitche also worked with me directly to ensure my vision for the tables and buffet was set to perfection. Tami and Mitche were so amazing! We had them cater our wedding of 160 people. They made a delicious meal and at a very reasonable price! The best thing about them, however, was during the planning phase. Tami was so great about answering questions promptly and was extremely organized leading up to the wedding. We had some guests that needed some food accommodations and they were able to do that without a problem. So not only was the food delicious, but my stress level was little to none working with them because they handled everything and made me feel so comfortable. Actually, no words can honestly describe G-Gourmet Catering. This company goes above and beyond for their clients. It truly is amazing to come across a company like this. From the moment you make contact with them you feel like a part of a "family". You instantly forget you are making stressful decisions regarding events big or small and feel like you're chatting with friends instead! I have used them now for a couple of different events and will continue to use them for events going forward. They are willing to work with you and will accommodate to the best of their abilities. Needing to find a caterer on short notice, I asked around and was referred to Chef Mitche at G-Gourmet. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Mitche and Tami were great to work with, the food was spectacular, the presentation was impeccable, and the price was right.

We hired G-Gourmet for my daughter’s fall wedding. I cannot say enough about this group of professionals! From the beginning to the end our needs were fully met! We had a very challenging napkin color request and Tami did her best to find us something close. It didn’t work out so we supplied our own but she did try. They helped us plan the menu; it was so personalized and they helped us stay in our budget by offering options that were delicious but in our price range. And we had rave reviews from all of our guests! The one thing that I had people say, “the rolls are so delicious I wish we had more!” I would agree, Tami’s rolls are the BEST! The steak and chicken entrees were tender and totally different in flavor. The vegetable was cooked perfectly as well. I hate mushy cold vegetables! The staff that they hire are so friendly and attentive...seriously they were there every time I turned around. Ready to pour water, or offer to take your plate. It wasn’t rushed but kept a steady pace. At one point towards the end of the evening we were running low on glassware and one staff member ran to the store and bought us a huge sleeve of plastic cups...now that’s service people!! One of the waitresses even took one of our guests baby on her hip for a bit so she could eat her meal! That was so thoughtful! G-Gourmet did an amazing job at the company holiday party this year. The food was delicious -- the artichoke dip was divine. They ran a wine and beer bar, full service set up and clean up of everything from the tables to putting left overs in the fridge. Comments from attendees have been very positive.
