I enjoy helping small business owners and individuals not only reduce their current tax liability, but also plan for their future potential tax consequences as well. Rather than simply preparing a tax return and informing my clients what the tax outcome is, I prefer to help them understand the process by providing a thorough explanation of the tax laws. Any of my clients will tell you that I am always available and I am willing to spend as much time with you as needed, without affecting the price to prepare their tax return.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As a service professional, I continuously heard stories of disgruntled people not being able to get in touch with their accountant. For some it was several months, for others it was 2-3 weeks and even near impossible. By always making myself available for advice or discussion without billing for my time, in conjunction with the pleasure it brings me to help a small business, family or individual, I wanted to make a difference by setting myself apart from other tax professionals.

Yes. I can prepare and electronically file tax returns for any individual or business in all 50 states. The pandemic has proven that it isn't necessary to meet "in person," however we can discuss everything over the phone, email, teams or zoom meetings, whichever the particular client prefers.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
By having a home office, I typically meet with clients either at their place of business, their home, or a neutral establishment (such as Starbuck's) and I practice the guidelines established by the CDC. If I were to have any Covid symptoms, I ensure everyone I will be tested before meeting, or if necessary, rescheduling our meeting.
