FBI Entertainment provided a wonderful balloon artist for Trinity Church's Family Circus event on Saturday, September 12th. The balloon artist was super talented in making small, medium, large and super large balloon creations all while interacting and entertaining the guests. And I might add that during the 3 hours there were only 2 duplicate balloon creations. There was a line of kids throughout the entire event and not a complaint by anyone having to wait a few minutes for their turn. Nothing but praise for FBI Entertainment!!!! Thank you for providing great entertainment at our event! More...

We had Jonathan at our family party. This was the most phenomenal balloon animal experience I’ve ever witnessed. The delivery was top notch too. He was engaged and running around with the kids. I’m so impressed. Even the adults were blown away with the elaborate and life sized balloon creations. Smiles all around, thank you. More...

My son in law’s retirement party was held at the Haight Venue in Elgin. There were about 30 kids attending so my daughter decided to hire FBI Entertainment to keep the kiddos happy. Wow!! Those kids were smiling, dancing to the music (also provided by FBI) and thoroughly had a blast for more than two hours, prancing around in the most creative balloon creations this grandma has ever seen! If I could give them 10 stars, I would! More...

Jonathan deserves more than five stars! He performed double duty as DJ and Balloon Artist at my husband's retirement party. The kids were engaged the entire time, and spent the rest of the party dancing and playing with his creations. His energy and talent captured the attention of even the most rambunctious of kiddos. He made several giant balloon animals that enchanted kids and adults alike. As a DJ, he made a fantastic playlist after I sent him an eclectic sample of songs my husband enjoys (who doesn't love the combo of Big Band, 80s pop, and Irish music??). Many friends and family members commented that Jonathan definitely earned his money - he was working hard the entire three hours and made a lasting impression. Highly recommend! More...

Hired him for a fall fest at our local school. Absolutely love the animation and experience he created for each person he made balloon for. This is not your average balloon artist. He goes above and beyond to make everyone smile and laugh. Will definitely be using him for future parties. Thank you! More...

What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Read the room, not the playlist. I start with songs everyone knows, mix in games like freeze dance and limbo to pull in the shy kids, take requests, and save the biggest hits for when energy dips. Party lights help too: people dance more when the room feels like a party.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Fast, funny and interactive. I chat with every kid while I twist, take their ideas seriously ('a purple dinosaur with a sword? Let's do it'), and keep the energy up so parents can relax and enjoy the party too.
What do you love most about your job?
The moment a kid's eyes go huge when the balloon in my hands turns into exactly what they asked for. Second place: when the grown-ups end up in line asking for one too.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I fell in love with entertaining as 'Sassafras' at a wild west park in 2008, then learned balloon art in my brother-in-law's company in 2014. After years of hundreds of events, my wife Anna and I started our own family company so we could bring that same fun, our way, to families and communities near home.
Why should our clients choose you?
You get 12 years of experience, a family business that genuinely cares, and an entertainer who shows up on time and prepared. We're $1M liability insured with a COI and W-9 on request, and we can do it all in one booking: balloons, DJ, shows, face painting, games and lights. One call covers the whole party.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Our entertainment is built for in-person fun, so we don't offer virtual shows right now. Planning is easy to do remotely, though: we can sort out your date, theme, guest count and package by message, phone or email before the big day.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We stay home if anyone on our team is sick, wash and sanitize our hands and tools between events, and are happy to follow any health guidelines your venue or school has in place. Just let us know what you need, and we'll set up outdoors or with extra space if you prefer.
Balloon Twister
Fast, fun balloon twisting built for crowds. Guests pick from a balloon menu (dogs, swords, flowers, hats, laser blasters and more) and I keep the line moving, up to about 75 simple balloons an hour. Perfect for festivals, school fun nights, fall fests, trunk-or-treats, farmers markets, grand openings and fundraisers. $1M liability insured, with a COI naming your organization and a W-9 available on request.
Balloon Artist
Detailed, custom balloon creations made right in front of your guests: themed characters, wearable hats and costumes, swords, animals, and life-size sculptures. I ask about your theme ahead of time (superheroes, princesses, unicorns, dinosaurs, sports, you name it) and plan designs in your colors, from a library of 300+ designs. Best for birthday parties, family gatherings, corporate parties and smaller groups where every guest gets a showpiece. I just need a small table-sized spot out of direct sun.
Kids DJ
A high-energy dance party made for kids: kid-friendly music, party games like freeze dance and limbo, and a wireless mic for birthday shout-outs. The setup is streamlined and fits in a living room, party room, backyard or park. Built for birthday parties, block parties and small private, family or corporate events of 75 guests or fewer. Add party lights or giant games, or pair it with balloons for the ultimate party.
Professional DJ
Full sound and lighting production for bigger crowds: school dances and homecomings, weddings, company parties, retirement parties and community events. I read the room, take requests and keep the floor full, with clean, crowd-appropriate music. Upgrades include extra party lights, moving-head lights that sweep the ceiling, and dual subwoofers for club-style bass. Want something unforgettable? Add balloon art and I'll do double duty as your DJ and balloon artist.
Bubbles
Giant bubbles, bubble clusters and hands-on bubble fun that kids chase for hours. Bubbles are a great add-on to balloons or a Kids DJ, and a crowd-pleaser at outdoor birthdays, festivals and school events. Best outdoors or in a large room with a little space to run.
Face Painting
Bright, professional face painting for all ages: tigers, butterflies, unicorns, superhero masks, sports designs and more. Guests pick from a design board, and we use cosmetic-grade, skin-safe paints. Great for birthdays, festivals, school events and fundraisers, and easy to pair with balloons for a full kids' zone.
Glitter Tattoos
Sparkly, kid-safe temporary glitter tattoos that last for days, the perfect swap for face paint when guests want something quick and mess-free. Guests choose their design, and the shine looks amazing in photos. Great for birthdays, dance parties, festivals and teen events.
Magic/Variety Show
A 30-minute, kid-friendly show packed with comedy, magic and audience participation, where the kids become the stars. Great for birthdays, libraries, schools, scouts, churches and holiday parties. It pairs perfectly with balloons afterwards, so every child goes home with a creation.
Birthday Party Packages
Easy, all-in-one birthday packages, each priced below booking the pieces separately:
• Party, Party+ and Party Pro: 1, 2 or 3 hours of Balloon Artist plus Party Speakers for background music (wireless mic on request). Party Pro adds 2 party light stands.

• Add a Kids DJ to any package at a special package rate.
Tell me your guest count and kids' ages and I'll recommend the best fit.
Balloon Show
A stage show built around balloons: big reveals, funny skits, volunteers from the audience and giant creations built live. A favorite for libraries, schools, summer reading programs, festivals and big birthday parties. Ask about adding balloon twisting after the show.
Giant Games
Giant Connect 4, giant Tetris, stacking cups, cornhole, hula hoops and more. It keeps kids busy and happy while they wait for balloons or between dances. Available as an add-on to any DJ or Balloon Artist booking, and included in our Game-On packages. Works indoors or outdoors.
Party Lighting
Turn any room into a dance floor. Add party light stands with color and effects, extra light stands for bigger rooms, or moving-head lights that sweep across the ceiling to the music. Available with Kids DJ or Professional DJ. Lights look best in a darker room or after sunset.
