Brian Reeves grew up in Southeastern Washington. His grandfather was an architect, and from a young age he knew he wanted to work in architecture. In 2009 he graduated from Andrews University with a Masters of Architecture. He went on to work for residential and commercial architecture firms in Colorado, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho before founding Enduring Design Architecture.

When we began our search for an architect to design a home and auxiliary dwelling unit to build on ten sloping acres in Northern Idaho, I spent hours reading bios on houzz and visiting the websites of various architects and designers. When I found Brian Reeves I was instantly intrigued. We wanted to find someone who appreciates the beauty of traditional architectural forms as much as we do, someone who would capture our vision not only for a house but for a lifestyle of hospitality, and who would also carefully consider our unique needs. As an active but aging couple with a disabled adult son, our plan is to live in community with our married daughter and her family, since they will assume our son’s care when we are no longer able to or are no longer around. I could tell by Brian’s drawings that he loved classic architecture and was extremely talented and creative. I sent him a message that started a conversation that led to the design of a beautiful home that surpasses our original vision. Brian has been so easy and delightful to work with. He is warm and approachable, listens well, and has an amazing ability to envision a three-dimensional structure from the simple sketched floor plans I sent him. He took our ideas, suggested changes that greatly improved them, and created a design that surpassed all of our initial hopes. Brian combines tremendous giftedness as a designer with willingness to listen and thoughtful attention to detail.
