El Charro Cafe is a great mexican restaurant with great charm and history. Ambiance and decor of the restaurant were top notch. Fair pricing on menu. Not a big selection of tequila on the menu but I came here for the food. I had the recommend and local favorite dish the El Charro Carne Seca Chimichanga with queso. Was not disappointed. Very tasteful and meat prepared and served properly for this dish. Beans and rice exceeded expectations as well. I did not however recieve my drink tell half way thru my meal and that is the only reason keeping me from 5 stars. Steff was attentive and helpful. Will definitely be returning More...

This is a quaint little mexican restaurant located downtown. The ambiance was upscale for a Mexican restaurant, but you'd still feel comfortable wearing shorts and a t-shirt. The service provided by the staff was excellent (our server was Steven). We ordered the Carne Seca platter and the guacamole. Both were excellent!
