I have been training with Jerome Howard since October 2022. During this time, I have lost close to 20 lbs. I am now able to wear two pair of dress pants that had gotten too tight in the waist (34) for comfort, also I can wear a college shirt that had gotten way too tight for me to button comfortably down the front. I receive dietary guidance as well as recommendations on various supplements that will enhance my overall well being. I set goals at my initial assessment and we review them often. I have achieved my walking initiative of 4 to 5 miles per walk. When I had my last preventive exam, we reviewed my numbers. My cholesterol is now down from 207 to 184! What do you love most about your job?
While fitness and aesthetics are important, at DPD, we see them as the easiest and quickest changes. The real, most rewarding transformation comes when the habits and discipline developed through fitness start to carry over into other areas of life. Our clients become more intentional with their finances, time management, communication, and overall self-discipline—ultimately becoming the best version of themselves.
What inspired you to start your own business?
DPD was founded from my personal journey as an athlete. Although I would later become a Hall of Fame athlete, my teenage years told a different story—I was a late bloomer and, frankly, not very good. Determined to improve, I worked odd jobs to afford additional training and resources, only to be let down time and time again. Many training companies overpromised, underdelivered, and preyed on those they saw as uneducated.
After years of disappointment, I realized there was nothing on the market that truly prioritized the client. Too often, companies used genetic outliers as marketing material while leaving the majority feeling frustrated and hopeless. I remember thinking to myself, "It won't always be this way. If I ever get the chance, I'll make things different. No one should have to feel like this."
Nearly a decade later, DPD was born. The name reflects our mission—to develop performance, meet each client where they are, and help them become the most DYNAMIC version of themselves.

We have enhanced our cleaning regimen, increased our supply of Lysol and hand sanitizer, and implemented thorough screening processes to ensure clients are not experiencing any COVID-related symptoms.

All heroes don't wear caps, this group is for our everyday superhero who would like to dedicate one hour to fill their own cup and pour it into themselves. Our primary focus is to help you reach your dream body composition by decreasing body fat and improving muscle.
Class times are Mon, Wed, and Thursday at 7-8am.
