Lamar was extremely communicative, professional, and fun to work with! He has a great vibe, and is really good at reading the crowd. For my walk down the aisle song, he made a mix that incorporated the part of the song I wanted and transitioned it smoothly into instrumental. He also uses an app that allows you to select songs, make playlists, add notes, and invited guests to make song requests. Although, we did not use that feature much, we instead used spotify. Lamar was the consummate professional starting from day 1. He had a plan and vision and very clearly articulated what he could and could not do in our initial consult.
He did not try to upsell and gave us very honest feedback on what he thought we needed for our venue. We had interviewed many DJs before Lamar but were blown away by his knowledge and experience.
We had a very specific type of music we wanted at our wedding and Lamar far exceeded expectations. He mixed things up with the genres we asked for and went above and beyond to include music out of his comfort zone (was a Korean wedding) in his mix. We heard from multiple attendees how impressed they were.
Lamar made everything a breeze and he worked closely with our planner to make sure our special day went perfect. I had multiple friends ask for Lamar's contact for future use.

Lemar was truly fantastic! We were lucky to find him. Never having ever hired a DJ before, he set the bar sky high with his professionalism and communication. He walked the bride and groom through a straightforward process of selecting songs and setting the pace. On the event day, he helped me tremendously to set the event's tone and get the party going. Lamar was an amazing DJ. We hired him for my father's 80th birthday, and his DJ equipment, skills, and playlist exceeded my expectations. He arrived a few hours early to give himself plenty of time for set-up. He had great speakers, a podium, and microphone, all of which added to his professionalism. He was flexible, accommodated guests who wanted to sing, knew how to read the room (it's hard to get 80 year old people to dance for a long time!). Lamar was great! We only had 2 weeks to find a DJ and had a couple of offers but went with him due to his communication, flexibility, and other reviews. The reviews weren’t misleading. Leading up to the wedding, Lamar was very responsive, organized, and accommodating.

I like the challenge of different groups. Having someone or a group of people saying not only that they had a great time but also some songs took them down memory lane or they forgot they loved a song brings a smile to my face.

Music is my passion but I am a people person at heart. Bridging the fact that music feeds the soul and a good dj can make your event unforgettable, I had to do it for more than a hobby.

Yes, setting up remotely is a service I can offer. The better the setup on the receivers end, the better the party will be if you can't have a live DJ. Having the ability to take request via a messaging service app, makes it easy to feel like we are all in the same venue.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
When speaking with clients about Covid-19, I ask if they are providing mask or hand sanitizer for guest as I also bring some. I also, take request via messaging service app.
