Most dog training programs use force and dominance techniques. This is proven NOT to work. My training programs rely on the latest in dog behavior to create a strong bond between you and your dog and create positive interactions with your dog as opposed to fearful ones. Then reinforce the behaviors you want.

Sandra is an amazing trainer! We couldn’t have picked a better person to care for our fur babies. She is an animal lover and has shown lots of attention and care for our pets. We have a very energetic 18 month Rhodisian puppy, a 7 year old Pondengo/rescue who was being very dominant and a sweet 10 year old terrier mix/rescue. Recommend with no reservations. Sandra is phenomenal. She started working with Summitt who was adopted at 6 months. She was very high strung and hard headed, but Sandra was patient and knew just how to get through and gain her trust. After that Summitt whizzed through all her training sessions. Sandra then assisted us in picking out our newest family member, Beaufort, and began training him as a puppy. I had just picked up an Australian Shepherd pup last week, his name is Milo, and was having a time crate training him. I did like everyone, I went to the internet for advise. Well nothing seemed to work. The puppy anxiety to the owner was too much. I contacted Sandra through a local website search and made my at “home training” appointment. When Sandra arrived to the home we chatted a bit and with Milo in arms, we were off to an hours (actually a bit over, but who can resist Milo’s Sinatra blue eyes) worth of needed adjustment. It didnt take long at all before Milo was happy and content within the crate. A relief for Milo and me. That evening there was a bit of happiness to see Milo after a great play session to run to his crate to catch a quick nap before going at it again. Definitely recommend! Since the day I got her, my dog, Roxxy, has had major anxiety around other dogs to the point where I dreaded taking her out for potty breaks - and living in an apartment complex made it even worse! To top it off, she's also been be stubborn and would often totally ignore my commands for some reason or another. Within literally two sessions with Sandra, she's a totally different dog! She still has some anxiety, but we can now walk by the dog park without her losing her mind and she listens much more attentively now. This 6 week course teaches you and your puppy how to communicate effectively, address solization & preventing problem behaviors before they start.
ADVANCED TRAINING
This helps dogs who already know the basic cues achieve the same results in situations involving more distance duration and distractions
ONLINE TRAINING
I offer online training for clients out of state, for people who just want to work on a couple of issues that already are familiar with their dog, and for anyone else near or far who wants to improve their relationship with their pup without breaking the bank.
