We started working with Alisa when our puppy was about ten weeks old. Alisa helped us navigate all the pitfalls that happen to first time dog owners. Alisa always was upbeat and positive with us and with our puppy, Penny. More than anything Alisa changed the way my wife and I looked at having a dog. The field trips and adventures that Alisa took us on seemed intimidating to us at first. Now they are part of our weekly routine with our pup. I highly recommend Alisa to any new puppy parents. Alisa was wonderful! She gave me so many useful tips and tricks to use with my 4 month old Rottweiler puppy. Her private training was definitely worth it - she coached me through different scenarios at various public places, and I feel so much more confident now in socializing my pup. Highly recommend!!

Alisa has been incredibly helpful with my pup Kipo and teaching her how to be relaxed when home alone. Alisa’s creative ideas and empathy for my situation has been the hope I’ve needed to get through this tough developmental stage!

We were so happy to have found Alisa! We were recommended to her from our vet and from the first phone call I knew she was a fit! We expressed that we wanted our new pup to be a part of our lives 100%, take her on all of our adventures together and she was all for it and helped create a program to do just that. From day 1 she was so sweet with our baby girl and made sure to send detailed overviews of the sessions. Alisa was always available when I needed her. Our puppy girls progress showed how great of a trainer and person Alisa is, she not only helps the puppy but she helps the parents too. I’d 10/10 recommend Alisa to everyone. More...

We are so happy to have found Alisa at just at the right time to help us get our puppy off to the best possible start. I loved her training approach that week to week built upon what was taught the week before, always positive and upbeat. The first question on arrival always was "what's going on this week, how is he doing?" so there was always time for tips on the puppy issue of the week :) Alisa's ideas , knowledge of the coolest toys, ways to keep a puppy busy have been invaluable ! Alisa is the best and the puppies and their families who choose her Peak Puppy Potential Program are very lucky to have her ! More...

In-Home Puppy Training
The trainer comes to your home to work one-on-one with you and your puppy. Puppies learn best in their home environment, so this is the most effective way to help your puppy become a well-behaved companion. In-home sessions are one hour long.
Puppy Socialization Field Trips
One-on-one field trips are excellent opportunities to ensure your puppy is getting proper socialization, which is essential to bringing out the best in your puppy. When it's done right, socialization can help prevent potential behavior issues from arising as your puppy grows up. These outings grow your puppy's confidence and teach them how to act while out and about with you. There is an option to have my well-behaved adult dog tag along for safe dog socialization, which is very important for young puppies. Location varies depending on your puppy and goals, but we often meet at a non-pet related dog friendly stores, parks, or forest preserves.
