DJ Theo was perfect for our wedding! The booking process was simple and he met with us months before the wedding to look at the reception space. We were at ease on our wedding day because he set everything up perfectly. Theo went above and beyond by ensuring we had the proper sound equipment for the space so that all our guys could hear our speeches and the music. His attention to detail and friendly personality is what put us at ease. Theo played all the songs we wanted, kept the energy up throughout the night, and kept us on track (to fit in all the speeches and dances). So... this review is a little bit overdue. It has been two since Dj Theo703 dj'ed our wedding. To be honest, at the beginning we just thought about renting speakers and equipment and have my niece man the very eclectic playlist we had put together as our families tastes in music are so different (I am Peruvian, my husband is of polish descent). Anyways, I put my foot down and decided to just have him DJ because I was getting TOO stressed out about the SIX HOUR of music we had to trim down. Knowing very well that the music can either MAKE or BREAK your wedding I asked for a meeting so we could discuss the very extensive playlist mentioned above. He looked at it (Spotify rules), literally told us what would work and I was happy about it... His deep knowledge of music preferences amongst Latin American countries is second to none in my opinion. Anyways, he showed up on time, set up everything, put up the lights, and just.... BROUGHT IT. The mix of music was enough to keep EVERYONE young and old dancing the night away. We even had a special request for the father-daughter dance which everyone had a kick off and he executed to perfection (started with the very traditional Blue Danube and then did a record scratch to "La Rebelion" by Joe Arroyo. It still has people talking about it. Our friends and family who attended keep on talking about how fun the wedding was and even our unmarried cousin said if she ever gets married, she will hire Theo (I hope he would go all the way to Chicago). The only time there was no one in the dance floor was for our dance and the toasts (even during dinner the kids were just dancing away). I cannot even tell you how happy I was with him. DJ Theo was fantastic to work with for our wedding. He took our quirky taste in music and turned it into a fun, lively event. He was enthusiastic and positive, responding quickly to any requests or gestures across the dance floor, and a great MC! We particularly appreciated that he actually looked at our provided music library and played some of our more obscure favorite artists during the dinner. Our scheduled DJ "no showed" for our wedding. Â It ended up being a blessing in disguise because DJ Theo was our "rescue DJ" and he kept it "turned up"! By time we finished our first course, he was set up and getting the party started. Â He was receptive to songs the crowd wanted to hear, professional and cost a fraction of the price we paid for the "no show". We found DJ Theo on Fb market place. At first I was a little hesitant to hire a dj for my wedding online but DJ Theo met and went way above our expectations. Before the wedding whenever I would have a question he would reply right away to my messages or email. Â He's very trustworthy and made everything so much easier. He was also accommodating when we needed to add extra stuff to our package last minute. He also came out to venue which he suggested himself as he wasn't familiar with our location. All and all, pre wedding process very smooth. Contract was signed via email and paid via quick books! Very easy!! During the wedding day was just as amazing. He helped set up outdoor speakers to play entrance music for down the aisle and exit music. He also helped with setting our pastor up with audio. It was a lovely set up. In the ballroom he kept the music dumping and people dancing all night. He was great with making announcements on the mic and helping guide the people to appetizers, Â main course, cake cutting etc. Dj Theo was a great additional to our wedding ceremony and reception and we are so glad we found him! He's not just some kid who Doesnt know what they are doing. He's a very talented professional with lots of experience, expectational Dj! this is coming from a desi Bangali bride and Colombian groom! I used Theo for an event I had near Frederick Md and he was awesome! He was very quick to respond to any email I sent. And followed up appropriately. During the event, he  as originally set up inside, but we had gorgeous weather so I asked him to relocate outside and he jumped at the chance to entertain my guests. One of the Best DJ's in the DMV (D.C., Maryland and Virginia), I go to this guys shows every weekend when he plays at Backyard Grill out in Chantilly, VA and have to say he knows how to bring out a crowd. Ask him to play the Macarena. ;)
