What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
1. The ability to read the room. If I'm playing EDM and getting requests for early 2000's hip-hop, I'm gonna switch it up.
2. Maintain the flow. Much like radio, dead air will suck the air out of the room. Matching BPM's and blending tracks is fire.
3. Have fun and interact. We might arrive as strangers, but we'll be walking out as homies.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I love mashups and mixing a variety of styles to keep things interesting. I also love to include internet memes and lines from TV and movies that people recognize, making them laugh. Unprecedented, creative mixes are memorable and many moments of future joy are based on the memories of our past.
What do you love most about your job?
The smiles on people's faces when they hear their favorite song. Watching a group of 5 or 6 people, dancing in a circle, singing the lyrics to each other. Hearing screams of excitement when their jam is poppin' off. It warms my heart. I love it.
What inspired you to start your own business?
For over a decade, I've worked for large corporations and I've grown weary of the office politics, double-talk and falling in line. When I'm DJing, I'm free. It's just me. I feel like Harry Tuttle from the movie Brazil. Go anywhere, travel light, get in, get out, wherever there's trouble, a man alone.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm fun and flexible. Need me to play a certain track at a certain time? No problem. Need someone to encourage people to get out on the floor, smile, loosen up and have a good time? I'm your man.

I cannot provide my services online or remotely. It's kind of difficult to feel the bass of an 18 inch subwoofer through a computer.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I don't enforce any pandemic mandates on patrons. If people want to wear masks, that's fine with me. I don't tell people what to do and I expect the same in return.
