DJSdot did was amazing , at our son's wedding reception , prior to the wedding date , he stayed in constant touch with us which included a zoom call a couple days before the big day , ensuring that every phase of the event would go smoothly. and it did. His attention to details from our playlist requests to his introductions of the wedding party, to his all out bangin cuts that he played were outstanding. We hired DJ S Dot as our wedding DJ and he was amazing! We are a mixed couple (African America and Jamaican) and he did an awesome job combing all of our music genres, catering to all of our guests. His app was very easy to use and he is very responsive and professional. At the wedding, his music was on point. His transitions were flawless and he read the crowd very well in terms of energy. DJ SDot electrified the crowd at my wedding! When people were first seated at the reception, he took a couple minutes to break the ice for the guests. Then, he got everyone excited for the wedding party, my wife, and me. He knew how to read the crowd and brought a variety of music that kept the dance floor going during the Open Dance portion of the night. He catered to different music tastes and age groups in a seamless, creative, and fun way. I knew how important having a good DJ for my wedding was, so I interviewed several DJs and went with DJ Sdot because he seemed to understand my vision and seemed to be confident that he could make it happen... And he sure did!! First, my wedding was an extremely mixed crowd and he managed to cater to everyone. During and after the wedding everyone raved about his ability to read the room, keep the energy going, and make creative transitions that kept everyone on the dance floor the entire time! He had over 50 people (grandparents included) out on the dance floor swag surfing together (a core memory that I now play over and over in my head...and on video because he also captured this moment for us)!! From the first meeting to the last, Sean was extremely prepared and organized. He has all the correct tools to provide a phenomenal experience. In particular, he has an app that allows you to put all songs, details, and when to play it. Only area of opportunity in our case is that we wished he played more songs we had added to the app. Sean was extremely courteous and understanding when we missed a meeting and had to reschedule. DJ Sdot was very professional to work with for my son’s bar mitzvah. I loved the planning music app. Everyone loved the photo booth so definitely go with that package if you’re having an event. There were some hiccups such as low sound during the photo montage and some confusion with the songs for candle lighting but got it together. Our guests were on the floor all night I would have liked more interaction with the kids and also more of the songs I chose. We had our wedding on 11/2 and really liked DJ SDOT. His ice breaker in the beginning was funny and got people engaged. He played the right music at the right time. We also booked his Photo Booth ,cold sparklers and the dancing on the clouds, all looked amazing. He gave us raw video of our dance floor the whole night which was awesome usually you have to pay for that. He did the up lighting on the dance floor and had our name and date on his DJ Booth screen which he added with no additional charge. People loved the photobooth and the props that came with it , it was nice to be able to print or have a link to the photos. My husband and I will recommend him to our friends for future events. I met Sean at a bridal show the spring before my wedding this weekend, there were a few others there as well, everyone doing their thing. But let me tell you DJ SDot Ent. stood out from the crowd! Their music, their energy and vibe was just magnetic! I did my due diligence and interviewed a few others after attending more shows and researching online but there was no match in my eyes, not even close. On top of them just being friendly and fun, going through the breakdown of their process was so thorough and impressive. I immediately knew there was no comparison and sent a deposit. Sean has a whole app system that breaks down everything for you to fill in exactly your wants, dislikes, schedules and even down to your crowds age range to assure every age group would have something in the mix they would love. It’s was not only useful to keep the evening moving but was a great tool to help design your timeline to pass along to all vendors. Jock (our designated DJ for the night) killed it and even went above and beyond to help us get organized and his suggestions were a god send to help out a very overwhelmed bride and even step up to make sure all the other vendors were on point. All with a smile on face and his experience and knowledge really showed. If you need a Dj for any occasion, hit them up, you will not be disappointed! Dj Sdot made my 40th birthday party unforgettable! The music was amazing. He played hit songs for the younger & older crowd at my party & I danced all night long! !! I received the package with uplighting & dance floor lights which made the hall simply beautiful! He gave shout outs throughout the party, made announcements on the mic for me & even got on the dance floor to teach an line dance! His service is top tier & I highly recommend him to everyone. I wish I was able to give more than 5 stars because Sean really is that good. Sean was so detailed and informative throughout all of our meetings together, and answered all of our questions without missing a beat. Fast forward to wedding day and Sean was on top of everything.
