DJ Náná was born in Cape Verde in the early 80s and migrated to the area in the late 90s. Náná started his DJ career in 1995, when he started performing for friends and family at parties and events. In the early 2000s, DJ Náná started performing at local clubs in Providence, Rhode Island.
