We have been shopping at Decorum for over 30 years. At this point, our condo looks like one of their showrooms. We have worked with Al Cortado for as long as he has been there. He is the primary reason we keep coming back. Of course the selection of furniture and accessories at Decorum is exceptional but without Al’s expertise and knowledge about matching our design taste with the wide variety of selections available at Decorum, we might not have come back time and again. We have used Decorum to furnish our entire house and we couldn't be more pleased! They have done an amazing job in catering to our style and needs. Their staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Even on difficult to find items they have gone out of their way to get us what we want. My most recent experience was with a special order for these beautiful wall art objects which I thought originally would take months to arrive. When we were ready to replace our boring and tired living room furniture, we contacted Debbie Pearl at Decorum and she was amazing. She came to our house, discussed our needs and desires, looked at the furnishings we wanted to keep and the colors that were in our home. Before leaving, she took photos and measurements. When we visited the store, she showed us items she thought would work. When we saw the sofa we wanted, she had just the right idea for a side chair and new rug to tie it all together. She also worked to make sure we had it all in before a special event in our home. Everyone at Decorum is so fire and helpful. Our living room was tired, outdated, and in need of some excitement. So we contacted Debbie Pearl at Decorum Furniture for some design ideas. She came to the house, discussed our style, looked at our other furnishings and took measurements. She invited us to meet her at the store an she showed us several pieces and discussed the pros and cons of each as it relates to how we planned to use the room and when we wanted to get it all complete. There was NO pressure. When we found the sofa we were looking for, we then started to find chairs and a carpet that all worked together. And work together it did. Today was the first time my husband and I came into the store. We were greeted immediately by Al who offered his name and a refreshment. After speaking with Al for a few minutes, he explained the store's current promotions and also the lead time on special orders. He was very kind, informative, and always available when my husband and I had a question. He also worked with us collaborating on our vision for our new apartment. Had an 11 year old Stressless recliner refurbished with new seat and lumbar cushion. Purchased this chair and a mate at Decorum Hilltop, Virginia Beach. The new cushions have made it like a new chair. The service department not only replaced the cushions, but they cleaned the leather so it is supple and feels like new (except it has 11 years of age wrinkles - wish I had that). The delivery guys were very prompt, courteous and professional. All of this would not have been possible if not for Stephanie! She coordinated the ordering of the cushions and service department pick-up and followed up to see if I was satisfied with my refurbished chair. Told her it was FANTASTIC! I highly recommend shopping Decorum as they have a great product lines, hospitable sales personnel and a fantastic service department!
