AJ was great! Easy to work with and maintained communication throughout our dogs stay as well as the turn over while picking her up, it was professionally conducted, he definitely knows what he’s doing. We did basic obedience and off the leash training and have had no issues with our dog. I have stayed consistent with working with her on everything he showed us since picking her up and she listens, has a good recall and is able to stay out in the yard off leash with my kids! More...

AJ treated my pup (8yrs old) with the same love and attention as his own dog. He trained my Jax to follow commands given the first time. He trained him to walk off leash and on heel and place. AJ is an amazing trainer—so natural with dogs! My puppy has sound-related environmental fears but is comfortable around people and other dogs. Cross Check was so amazing to work with. We were told exactly what to expect and they delivered. Our Staffy spent 1 month with Cross Check and she came back less anxious, more confident, and with the tools she needed to continue her training at home.
Cross Check also gave us the tools we needed to make sure we could be successful leaders for her.
As her leader, I use to be so anxious because of her behavior. She would constantly get out of the yard and scare little old lady’s that would call Animal Control on us. I didn’t want anything bad to happen to her so we reached out to Cross Check. And as soon as our girl got home, our fence was open due to a bad storm, and she started to run out. I instantly used her recall and she turned around immediately!! She didn’t even go more than 10ft from the fence. That right there made me so confident in her and her training at Cross Check!!! Also, I want to add, we live in Ohio and felt like Cross Check was the best fit so we drove to NC to get our dog the best training around!
Would recommend to anyone.
