We had the absolute pleasure of having Cocina 1932 cater our wedding, and we can’t recommend them highly enough! From the very start, Sebastian impressed us with his exceptional customer service. He truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was just perfect.

Julie was just as wonderful, always checking in on me and my husband to make sure we had everything we needed. Their professionalism made our special day even more memorable.

The food was nothing short of spectacular! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious everything was. The charcuterie table was beautifully arranged, highlighting their meticulous attention to detail, and the tacos were simply out of this world! The aguas frescas were a refreshing delight as well.

Throughout the event, Sebastian and Julie consistently checked in on us, ensuring we were doing well. Their hospitality was outstanding. They also did an amazing job setting up our wedding tables and carefully handling all our personal items during the breakdown.

Sabstian, Julie, and Robert are professional, prompt, on time, knowledgeable about food prep, organized, and so very personable. Smiles and a happy energy are what you'll feel the moment they show up at your event or at their amazing pop-up locations. Food is the bottom line we are all wanting. Sebastian. Julie, and Robert deliver on quality, quantity, Flavor, Hot things hot, with cold things cold. We had brisket and chicken. Bark, chew, buttery tender brisket with smoke and sweet tender,and savory flavors from smokey back to juicey tender bite. No knife needed. A couple of napkins and your favorite beverage is all it takes to enjoy their chicken and brisket feast. The chicken is smoked, juicy, tender and delicious. We had leftovers which turned into brisket and chicken breakfast boritos... Coaching 1932 keeps on delivering amazing food after the party ends. We decided to go to a college football game with a big group of family members. Of course we wanted to tailgate but the task of cooking was kind of discouraging. We came up with the idea of hiring someone to come and cook for us. Sebastian and his team came highly recommended. Honestly, from the very first conversation he was responsive, he not only gave me a quote within a day but it was laid out on a flyer; easy to read, all of the information was included and it was professional. He answered all of my questions and we agreed on the logistics. Sebastian was so easy to do business with - it really felt too easy. We had a wonderful experience with Cocina 1932. We hired them for a small graduation celebration and the food and catering service was top notch! We ordered the delicious brisket and chicken tacos along with ribs. For side dishes we chose the Mac n cheese, macaroni salad, frijoles puercos, and rice. They had plenty of food for all of our guests and then some which they leave for our guests to enjoy throughout the rest of the night. The ribs were a hit and were kept juicy and warm the whole time! My guests are of good palate and we heard nothing but compliments on the food. Their service is excellent as the servers interacted and were very polite and friendly with my guests. My sister and I were planning a 40th birthday celebration for my son and his wife, and Sebastian came highly recommended by a friend. I sought to work with a professional to oversee a BBQ event at a winery in either Morgan Hill or Gilroy.

We selected Cottage Creek Winery in Morgan Hill as our venue, with Cocina 1932 catering the BBQ. Sebastian and his team delivered a delightful menu featuring Ribs, Tri-tip, 1/2 chicken, and hot links, accompanied by sides of Mac & Cheese, Coleslaw, baked beans, and grilled corn.

Despite the challenging 100-degree weather at 6 PM, all our guests were delighted and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Cottage Creek Winery proved to be a good location, with Cocina 1932 BBQ (led by Sebastian, the owner) delivering food and service with utmost professionalism and distinction.

I highly recommend Cocina 1932 BBQ for any of your future events; you will not be disappointed..

Cocina 1932!!! This catering company is INCREDIBLE!! I do not say that lightly. They went above and beyond for our BIG wedding. We found them on Bark & without a doubt we knew they were going to be our cater from the first meeting. During our tasting/intro they were so attentive & paid attention to details AND that was just the tasting!! In fact they were so great during that first visit we actually cancelled all our other tasting and chose them. We could tell right off the bat they cared about giving the BEST food and Service. This was one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding. Not only do they have exceptional service their food is top notch!!! Their food… is SO amazing!!! Working with Cocina 1932 Cali-Mex BBQ was easy. They stayed in touch often. From sending quotes to getting on phone calls and explaining the process on how they work and all of that. Now for the food, when I say it was the best BBQ I’ve had, you got to believe me. Their Brisket, Ribs, and Tri-Tip were amazing all meats were soft and tender. They smoked their brisket for 13 hours and ribs for 6 hours. Brisket tacos were something I have never heard of and let me tell you, they knocked it out the park with those tacos. They were also generous enough to bring us some of their jalapeño & cheddar sausages made in house and they were definitely a 10/10. The sides were excellent, we had the Mac & cheese, Mexican corn salad, and Chili beans. There was NOT a drop off with the sides. Everyone at my party loved the food. Cocina 1932 Cali-Mex BBQ has the best food out there. Their BBQ is amazing. We had the brisket, ribs, chicken, and their Serrano habanero and jack cheese sausage. Their meats are smoked for hours and the best part is, is that the meats are not over powered in the smoke flavor. All meats were seasoned to perfection. The meat literally melted in your mouth, that’s how tender it was. Those sausages were nothing like I’ve tasted before. They did have some spice to them but the flavor was amazing. Their brisket tacos were also amazing as well. Never heard of them but man, they are amazing. Their sides were to die for with the Mac and cheese, Mexican street corn salad, and Spanish rice. BY FAR THE BEST BBQ IN TOWN. Cocina 1932 really provides great professional services. All the meats and sides were exceptional. So I'm a burger snob: very picky when it comes to the flavor, toppings, bun, and sauce used. When I first ate this guy's burger, I knew he was going places! But it's not over, he has these things called 1932 fries...... OMG! Not only is the food amazing, but Sebastian and his family are awesome. They may just be the kindest people you will ever meet.
