I met with Chris to work on a plan, and it was a great experience. He is very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and gave me great information. The gym is great; it has lots of equipment, it's clean, and the atmosphere is chill and friendly. I usually find gyms intimidating and uncomfortable, but this one had a completely different vibe, people are working hard but it's a relaxed setting. Chris takes time to assess where your fitness level is, understand your goals, and tailor a plan for you. Definitely recommend. More...

Absolutely love this gym! The space is clean, well-designed, and surprisingly well-equipped for its size—don’t let that fool you. They’ve packed in everything you need for a full workout, and there’s even a great outdoor area for training when the weather’s nice.

I had the pleasure of working with Corey, and I can’t say enough good things. He’s not just a great trainer—he’s incredibly knowledgeable about the human body and how it works, and he brings that expertise into every session. His approach blends physical training with a deep understanding of mindset, motivation, and personal goals. I truly felt supported, challenged, and constantly learning.

I recently had to relocate out of state, otherwise I would’ve continued working with Corey in a heartbeat. If you’re considering personal training here, I highly recommend booking with him. You won’t regret it!

I’ve had such a great experience at this gym. It’s always clean, well-organized, and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a great workout, whether you’re into strength training, cardio, etc. I’ve been training with Corey S., and I can’t recommend him enough. Corey’s knowledge of health and fitness is broad and deep, and he’s incredibly skilled at creating workout plans that are tailored and individualized. Every session feels fresh and challenging, with a wide mix of exercises that keep things interesting. He’s also a great resource for advice on supplements, nutrition, sleep, recovery, and all things related to overall health. Corey also strikes a balance between being easygoing and approachable while still keeping things professional and focused. I’ve had a few trainers elsewhere in the past and there was a lot of guesswork to routine and diet that had me discouraged, but Corey has taken the guesswork completely out of the equation. He’s really put time and effort into helping me in my fitness journey and I couldn’t be more thankful. I’ve been able to crush my fitness goals and push myself towards new goals with Corey’s help.

In addition to Corey being a fantastic trainer, I’ve loved the gym itself. In other gyms I’ve felt out of place, but I feel like the Evolve has been truly welcoming. I also don’t feel like I’m fighting to use equipment I need, which is an added bonus. I’m able to easily work through my sets and there’s plenty of equipment to work with.

I’ve worked with Darren over the past six months, and he’s simply the best! My goal is to build muscle, and he crafted a tailored workout plan specifically for that. His depth of expertise in exercise selection allows us to target muscles from multiple angles to maximize stimulation. When I hit a plateau, he adjusted my routine strategically to help me push past it. I’d recommend him to anyone, no matter their fitness goals - he truly has it all covered. With a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Darren has a strong command of injury recovery and rehabilitation. I experienced thoracic spine discomfort and elbow pain after bench pressing. Darren quickly identified the root of the problem, corrected my form, and suggested exercises and stretches that relieved the pain. I can now bench press pain-free. He’s also highly knowledgeable about nutrition. Darren consistently monitors my intake and makes smart adjustments to ensure my diet supports muscle growth. I couldn’t be happier about joining Evolve fitness and working with my own personal trainer. The gym is a very nice, clean environment and the staff are so welcoming. Chris, the owner, sits down with you for an initial interview to find out your goals, where you are physically, emotionally, and which of his fantastic trainers you’d be the best match for based on this information. Their holistic approach is also impressive because areas like nutrition, mental focus and readiness, and learning to love working out all tie in to set you up for long term success. I never worked with a personal trainer before, and this has been the best decision I have made in a long time! I have worked with David as my PT for 4 weeks now and already I feel a lot of positive difference. David is very knowledgeable and conscientious about how you are feeling after each exercise. His approach is to challenge and advance you appropriately without pain and without burning you out or exacerbating past injuries. He is a fun trainer to work with as well and has a great sense of humor which can be helpful! I’ve been working out with Darren for about a year and a half now, and he’s honestly the best. I’ve put on over 20 pounds of muscle while dropping body fat, which I didn’t think was possible for me. He really knows his stuff, his background in fitness and kinesiology definitely shows, but what makes him stand out is how fun he is to train with. Every session is a good time, and he somehow makes pushing yourself at the gym something you actually look forward to. Did two'ish months with Chris Protein Personal Training and it was fantastic, just wish I could’ve kept going (work got in the way). As a big cardio lad, lifting heavy objects wasn’t exactly my cup of tea, but Celeste made it all make sense, explaining every movement, fixing my form, helping with diet, building a plan that fit my schedule, and cheering me on through the pain (good pain, like, the pain muscles give you when you haven't put them to work since wrestling practice junior year of highschool). The gym’s super welcoming, great people all around. Chris and Celeste checked in often, which made it feel like I had a stellar team behind me. The space is clean, spacious, and never felt crowded. My teenage son has knee problems and we worked with RunLab to identify the muscle imbalances that were contributing to his issues. At Chris Protein Training, Darren has been helping him develop the weaker muscle groups, thus improving his posture, gait and pain. I’ve been a member since August, and this gym has truly enhanced my workouts—moving me from mostly cardio to targeted strength training. I feel stronger and more confident with each visit. I have myositis and my neck was really bothering me and woke me up from sleep at night. My massage therapist recommended Chris to me so me and my husband had an interview with him and decided to start partner training here. In just 3 months, our trainer David has made huge difference for both of us. He is very patient and knowledgeable. He explains why and make sure we make good progress towards our goals. He constantly checks for pain and gets feedback to see if adjustments are needed. We already feel much less pain and much better energy. The gym is very nice and well maintained. I wanted to take this opportunity to give Tom a huge shoutout. I have been training with him for several months now and the experience has been superb. He tailors workouts around my strengths but also challenges me to continuously improve in the areas I am neglecting. He is flexible with scheduling and makes adjustments to routines as needed. He is insanely quick with feedback on form and depth; his approach is immensely methodical and safe. Like for most people, life happens and it becomes easy for fitness to get deprioritized. Before working with Tom, I got inconsistent and stopped going to the gym entirely. He helped me get back on my feet and surpass my previous maxes on all my compound lifts (the plates are really adding up now). I even got my first chin-up in, which had been a work in progress for years. No matter where you are in terms of level, Tom will meet you there. Set some goals with him and get after it! 10/10! When I signed up for personal training, I had a simple goal: I wanted to walk into my apartment gym and know what to do. In the four months I’ve been training with Alyse, I’ve learned that—and so much more. I now know how to use each piece of equipment efficiently, how to plan a workout, how to adjust movements like lunges so my knees don’t ache, how to get more protein in my diet, and what to do when hormones impact my energy or muscle progress. I'm only what, 2 months in with this new little gym. It is a far cry from the massive, corporate LifeTime Fitness South that I had spent the last 18 month at. I was really looking for more personal, nutrition and data driven results. It's great that your trainer is telling you that you look great and strong, but what do the numbers say? The InBody machine they had there, is here as well. Curious why my trainer at LT never regularly used it in my regime. We met with the owner Chris and he offered us a complimentary workout with one of the trainers to get a feel for the place. That wasn't necessary really. We somewhat knew what we looking for and Evolve seem to have all the stuff we really needed, without the pretentiousness. My treadmill was there, they have heavy stuff to pick up and throw around. Machines for all kinds of stuff. A massive half tire thing, that actually looks dangerous to me. :) Chris's interview with us was personal and direct. I liked that as well. He took his time, listened and asked for our availability and when to start the first complimentary session and we discussed the packages available. This was a wow moment. A 6 month commitment meant that our PT hour was $79.99, no monthly gym fee and I could come and go as I please. Jaw drop. We were paying $150 an hour, plus a monthly gym fee 3x's a week. Although to be fair, I had recently moved to a Medicare Membership at LT so no gym fee, but restricted hours. Ok, interest was peaked. I went to my first session with Celeste. We spent the entire hour working on my balance and stretching. I was like, ok no weights? I regretted that thought when I got home a few hours later when my muscles had some aching, a signal that something good was happening that worked. Her style was to get me in touch with my core and she was surprised, as was I, why my past trainer experience didn't touch on that. Using my own stomach kettle bell or medicine ball as "The Weight" makes sense. I have used very little physical weight these past two months. I am doing a lot of Yoga it seems when I train with her. Mandatory stretching before working out, in addition to me getting on the treadmill before we start. The Yoga is teaching me to be in touch with my body and muscles, I like that as well. Celeste may be younger, but she has knowledge and experience which is what matters to me. She is now taking a keen interest in our diet. We are looking at recipes and dietary concerns. She cautioned me on my style, which was 1670 cals a day and reminded me that slow and easy wins this race. Again, good logic. Most important she has a laugh with me while I clumsy work my way through the gym like a drunken Shrek at a rave. Nice reassuring smile and very quiet speaking so I have to pay attention more. Communication. The owner is there often and when he sees me, he always checks in with me and asks how I am doing. I get reminders on the gyms personal app and text's from Celeste checking in on me. A very important app is the InBody app. I can already see the improvement in my body, which is a total motivator. Such a simple thing and a great, honest feedback tool. It feels good to support a local business and not a corporate conglomerate as well. Let's keep on keeping on! More...

I’ve had a 10/10 experience working with Tom as my trainer. The consultation was a perfect pairing in my approach to my personal fitness goals. His approach to training is gradual, collective, and rich in information. All around genuine and encouraging as a trainer. The program is effective and easy to approach. I’ve been training with Alyse for the last 3 months and already in that time I’ve noticed how much stronger I am than when I first started. I was definitely not seeing the same results working out on my own.
