Starting from the very beginning. Chef Sam contacted me promptly after looking for him (I saw him on an episode of Chopped) and really liked his style of cooking.
I decided to take a date & rented the Presidential Suite at The Westin for what I was hoping to be a wonderful private meal.
Sam didn’t prepare a wonderful sampling meal. He prepared the best meal of both our lives.
I’ve eaten all over the world and by far this has been the best sampling menu I have ever tasted.
Between his exquisite ability to pair wines with his food and the quality and presentation….he delivered a 10 out of 10 meal.
My date and I were amazed at the love he puts in every dish. He also is extremely friendly and puts in that extra effort as if your sitting in a restaurant and one of the best chefs in the country is there and cooking just for you.
Although the hotel brought almost everything, the chef came prepared even down to the missing champagne glasses.
He made the experience so much more between the food & wine by giving us wonderful conversation and engagement.
My date was impressed along side myself. So impressed she felt the same way I did at the time—-“pinch me, I want to make sure I’m not dreaming.”
If you want to do something over the top for a significant other, a group affair- just hire him and thank me later.
A perfect high end chef for a perfect evening in the second week of Dec 2021 at the Westin. All of their suites have kitchens but it made it extra special sitting in the Presidential suite.
We were so impressed we are going to share some pictures on Instagram via his account.
We will absolutely hire this chef anytime for a private dining event.
Lastly he went over the menu in detail, making sure all dietary requests were met fully.
A one of a kind experience that you will NEVER forget.
