Charmaine prepared the centerpieces for my husband's 60th birthday party. Just three days before Christmas, I wanted them to have a little holiday spirit, but not too holiday-ish. She achieved just the right balance... white roses, hydrangeas, standard greens and a touch of pine. She even added a bit of silver to some and gold to others to go with the color scheme. I can't thank Charmaine enough for taking so much time with me during such an emotional time in my life to create exactly what I wanted for my Mom's celebration of life. I walked in and had this idea of what to create and she was so very patient with me and showed me different flowers and colors until it was just what I pictured. I've been purchasing flowers from Charmaine's for many, many years.  I will highly recommend them to you.  Everything I do is over the phone, and they always remember who I am, where my wife works, etc. Why not five stars?  Quality of flowers is usually top notch, but we HAVE had some that were really not worth the money, or died a day or two after delivery.  When that happened, they DID replace right away, so that was fair, but the whole purpose of flowers is to generate a smile, not a problem to fix.All flowers lately that I've had delivered to my wife have been beautiful and nicely arranged. Charmaine's staff was absolutely amazing! I walked in there with 30 minutes to spare before my friends graduation started. I was asked what I was looking for, the occasion, and what my price range was. I said bright happy colors, for a graduation, and $40. She immediately started grabbing flowers, showed me what she wanted to put together and then went to work. 20 minutes later I had this beautifully arranged bouquet! Charmaine and her team rocked it!  They did our parents golden wedding anniversary in June and the flowers were beautiful!  They worked with us remotely (from SF and LA) and were very responsive and flexible.  More importantly, Charmaine worked within our budget and advised us on all the important issues since we did not live there and not familiar with flowers for this tradition.  Charmaine even helped with the pedestals at church. My husband delivered flowers to me from Charmaine's for our wedding anniversary. He used to get them from that company that ships them in a box, but the last two orders, the flowers were dead. So he ordered through Charmaine's, a local flower shop and they were they most beautiful flowers I have ever received in my life.....oh and the fragrance!! I need to share my experience about Charmaine's Bouquet Canyon Florist.I was looking for a florist to order orchids for my center pieces. I wanted to save money so I entered the store and met Anna such a wonderful person to have helped me. I explained to her how I wanted to save money and how I was making my own center pieces and she took her time to give me advice that I needed to help me create the center piece, with her help and support I was able to make my center pieces and they came out absolutely beautiful. I ordered my orchids and I only needed 6 and they place orders of 10. I went to pick up my orchids and they gave me 10 orchids with no extra charge, they said because I can have the extra for my birthday. I was so thankful that they gave them to me and I know that they deserve great reviews from happy customers. This is a LONG overdue review, however the recent flowers I received from my husband on Valentine's Day reminded me that herself and her business deserve this review. Charmaine did my flowers for my wedding back in June 2013. My wedding was in Newport Beach on a boat. Not only was her setup, her flowers and her execution remarkable and exquisite she was there and finished in perfect timing. I was able to take before wedding pictures with the boat already decorated and my bouquet in hand! When my husband and I met with her to plan the flowers we had ideas but Charmaine really made them come to life, she even helped us come up with better ideas for a boat and it was way better then we could have imagined! She is such a professional and knows her flowers!! Recently, my husband ordered the most beautiful arrangement of flowers for Valentine's Day, it had only two roses (cause he knows I'm not a fan) and absolutely stunning tiger lilies, FOUR of them! Recently ordered a prom corsage over the phone and we may have had a miscommunication. What I had in my head and what I received were not the same. I was disappointed but left the store (which is lovely, by the way) without saying anything. I contacted them via email the next day and the following  day received a phone call from Megan. Her attention to customer service and her kind offers to resolve the situation so quickly have won me over. We have used Charmaine's many times and have been extremely happy.  However, the last time I went to pick up a corsage, the roses were tiny and not what I was used to getting from Charmaine's.  I was told something about it being around Christmas and red roses were hard to get, which may have been true, I just wished they would have told me this when I ordered.  I left with my corsage feeling a little disappointed and when I returned home they called me, had received more roses, and offered to make me another corsage and deliver it.  They delivered (no charge) a beautiful corsage!  The BEST customer service. We needed two bouquets made for daughter's delivery of grandson-unit.  One needed to be in a special vase we provided.We wanted primarily blue colors--it's a boy!  A boy whose fetal name was Blueberry.  They were able to accommodate us, making the arrangements up as I waited.  (Small confession, I waited by visiting the In-N-Out down the street.)Daughter-unit received many compliments on the flowers during her stay in the hospital.  Although the arrangement contained flowers not known for their keeping quality, like larkspur, the arrangements held up well.  (I was told that the flower was delphinium, but I'm confident that it was actually larkspur and they are in the same family.)I checked that they are pricey, which they are, but they do deliver full value for the price. Charmaine was my florist for my wedding which was this past weekend (7/25/15) and WOW!! She did an amazing job! She took my vision for an enchanted forest and went running with it! I ordered flowers for my sister and they were amazing. I wanted them to have bling and glitter but still be classy. The finished bouquet was amazing. They also took special care to be sure they didn't leave the flowers outside when it was too hot and redelivered at a time she was home. My daughter & I met Charmaine at the White Stage wedding event last year and liked the displayed centerpieces she put together, so we met with her to discuss wedding flowers.  She asked a few questions, and quickly narrowed down what my daughter wanted for her bouquets, her centerpieces, the ceremony flowers, etc. and gave us a price point we were comfortable with.  My daughter wanted tulips in her arrangements, and Charmaine said that as long as they were available, she would work them in. Later, we showed Charmaine a specific centerpiece we wanted to use, and she was able to bring out examples of how the flowers we wanted would look inside the basket. Loved that!Months later, it's wedding time... Charmaine called the night before the wedding to ensure that Kelina got the exact look she wanted for the centerpieces and bouquets - so she sent pictures of arrangements to choose from as she was creating them! I was impressed - and then it got even better! Charmaine's saved my life! Needed two corsages on the morning of the prom. Turns out the person who was supposed to take care of that didn't. I walked in cold on a busy flower weekend (Mother's Day!) and not only did they have an extra the exact colors of the dress but were able to make another same day in plenty of time for pictures! I have been using Charmaine's for the last couple of years to send flowers to my mother for birthdays, Mother's Day, etc..  I live in Texas, so finding a florist that was in her area that would hand deliver arrangements was important.  (I hate florists who send flowers in the mail that the recipient has to put together themselves - totally spoils the point of getting flowers!)The first bouquet was one I picked from their online gallery and was quite lovely.  The next time I ordered I wasn't sure what I wanted and just asked for "designer's choice".  I told them the occasion and the colors I wanted and they came up with a stunning arrangement.  Just today they knocked it out of the park again with a beautiful arrangement for Mother's Day.  This time I did designer's choice, but asked that they include certain types of flowers based on availability.  The arrangement exceeded my expectations!  They used the flowers I asked for and came up with a beautiful design.I will continue to use this florist and would recommend them without hesitation! My hubby and I are so grateful that we had Charmaine as our florist for our big day. There are no words to describe how experienced, caring, professional and patient Charmaine and her team are. Right from our first consultation, Charmaine was a very patient listener who paid close attention to our vision and what we wanted. She asked very good questions and made many great recommendations - ideas that we would not have thought of.In addition, Charmaine is very familiar with our wedding venue, the Newhall Mansion, and had lots of great ideas for how we could decorate the beautiful venue. She and her team moved the flowers that were used to decorate the ceremony site to the reception area and were therefore able to help us reduce the overall cost. Also, she decorated our wedding cake with beautiful roses and it created a very cohesive theme for our decor. Not only did Charmaine spend lots of time with us during our initial consultation, she also offered to visit the wedding location with us and brought with her many decorative pieces so that we could see onsite which ones would work best. Charmaine also went above and beyond by bringing some of the key decorative pieces to the location the afternoon of our rehearsal so that we could view and confirm the decor was exactly what we had envisioned. This was such a pleasant surprise since we completely trusted her judgement and knew with full confidence that everything was in great hands with Charmaine. We are so thankful we chose to use Charmaine for our wedding.  She came highly recommended from Robinson Ranch and other vendors.  I didn't have any particular flowers in mind; all I knew is I wanted a "rustic" look.  From the moment we met with her, Charmaine was able to pull out a bunch of "rustic" flowers from previous weddings she did.  She read my mind!  Charmaine made it really easy and everything looked so beautiful.  From the mason jars, to the lantern centerpieces...our friends and family couldn't stop talking about how much they loved the flowers.  Not to mention, the bridal and bridesmaid bouquets were exactly what we wanted!  The groom loved his boutonniere too.  All of our pictures were enhanced by our flowers.  We would highly recommend Charmaine to all our friends and family for any special occasion.
