I came to Chambers K9 with my 10 month old German Shepherd rescue pup named Muppet. She is extremely high energy with a very high level of drive. I've had many dogs in the past without issues with training but Muppet was more difficult than any others. We had tried another local trainer without any luck at all. I reached out to Chambers and they were more than willing to take on the challenge Muppet presented. We did the Board and train program with Muppet. It was tough having Muppet away for so long but the weekly updates made it much more tolerable. Muppet made amazing progress over her time there. She left my home as a dog that would not listen to anything we asked and would terrorize my other pups. She came back as a whole new dog. She listens to our commands and will remain in a down while we open the doors and let strangers into the house. While walking on a leash she stays in a heel and doesn't pull at all. After the board and train was done we had a number of visits in the home to help address any issues that came up after she came home. They also trained us in a very kind and respectable manner which has helped us take control. I cannot recommend Chambers K9 enough and I will be doing this program with ANY new dogs I adopt. More...

What do you love most about your job?
I love giving a dog freedom and giving their owner their homes and lives back. We don't realize how poor or no training restricts both a dog and their owner from really enjoying each other and living together comfortably. When a dog understands and does the training, we can trust them do consistently do what we ask and that trust allows them to be more of a dog, while allowing us to not worry or stress so much about them being a dog.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My first dog. I started training Remy when he was a puppy and thought, "I'd like to do this full time." So I went to school, bought all the training books, and learned everything I could from everyone I could. I've always wanted to help people with their dogs.
Why should our clients choose you?
Experience. Results. My trainers and I are nerds about this stuff and really care about you and your dog. We've been in front of enough dogs to have a lot of tools in our pocket to find what works best for you and your dog. We come to you, where your dog is experiencing difficulty and work with you and them to resolve your training issues.
Basic Obedience
Your dog will learn sit, down, heel, stay, as well as crate training and behavior modification. This is an on leash program
Advanced Obedience
Your dog will learn sit, stay, heel, recall and more, all off leash.
Puppy program
Your puppy will learn the basics of training, crate training, and house breaking. This sets your dog up with good habits for the future ans for future training.
Specialty training
We provide training in protection, dog sport, and more.
