Chef Mike's is a direct descendant of the original Cajuns that landed on the banks of St. Martinsville, Louisiana in 1755 from the Canadian provinces of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. They brought with them values of Faith, Family and Community creating a unique culture of food, music and dance.

We were traveling to Texas from Georgia and found this place on our way. WOW! This was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. We had the breakfast quesadilla, crab Benedict, pancakes, Nutella crepes, and burger (we have a big family, y’all). Even the fresh fruit was so … fresh. Cajun Mike worked with us to have exactly the menu we wanted; traditional items we wanted plus a couple of his specialties to make a very satisfying menu.
16 adults plus several young ones and all with only positive comments on the quality of the food not to mention the quantity. Lots of extra food taken home by the guest and for the freezer from where we will enjoy Cajun Mike's in the weeks to come.
A plus we enjoyed was his attention to details. Everything set up for our enjoyment all we had to do was sit back, relax and enjoy the wonderful food.

It was disappointing, especially after everything we've heard. The service was very good. The maple cinnamon lattes were excellent. The food, however, had problems. We ordered the pulled pork benedict with white gravy and the boudin benedict with hollandaise sauce (standard menu items, no changes). Both came with hollandaise and the boudin benedict had no boudin. They gave us a bowl of white gravy, and later a plate of what they said was boudin. Not sure what it was, but it was not boudin. It was very bland, and looked like someone had scooped out roast beef hash out of a can and smashed it flat. The server was very apologetic, and the owner was as well after the white gravy incident, but we never saw her again to speak about the boudin. They blamed it all on the replacement cook. It was only us and one other couple, so he was not overwhelmed with orders. They apologized, but still charged full price (over $50). We would have expected, at a minimum, the lattes to be comped.
