If you’re looking for a responsive , customer service oriented company this is NOT it . I spent 2 weeks calling , sending inquiries and messaging the company to coordinate an event to no avail. Phone calls were not returned, text messages were viewed but returned 7 days later with no resolution. I would not recommend this vendor based on our experience. We hired them for a child’s 5th birthday party, and they failed to show up. This left us in an incredibly difficult position, especially with a group of young children expecting entertainment.We received an explanation a few hours before the event, but it did not seem credible or sufficient given the circumstances. We paid for the Hello Kitty character AND face painting. We were told that the PERSON assigned to us had an emergency. Was the special character supposed to do the face painting as well??When you are hiring someone for an important event, especially one involving children, reliability and accountability are essential. Unfortunately, this vendor did not meet those basic expectations. With a last minute adjustment, we were able to find another vendor to offer Gracie instead. I booked with Bluu Whale kids for my son’s 2nd birthday party.I booked A 30 min Elmo appearance for $245 they were supposed to arrive at 2pm & stay until 2. 30pm knowing that my son’s party was over at 3 PM. I wanted to save the best for last. Unfortunately they contacted me at 2:02pm via text stating that there was an accident which would cause them to be about 45 minutes late making their ETA around 2:45pm. Only giving my guest about 10 minutes of an appearance. Then once I was able to reach someone she wanted to fuss back-and-forth with me. I should’ve received a full refund and accommodation for my next event seeing that they were late on their end.!! My son and guest still had an amazing time but this company was beyond unprofessional and unsympathetic all due to their lack of time management. Absolutely fabulous experience booking Elmo character for a surprise appearance at our toddler's birthday party. Seamless reservation and payment process, very responsive owner, the actor was wonderful! Elmo costume was super high quality, and the kids went crazy. We hired Blu Whale Kids Entertainment to provide the character Bluey and face painting for 20 kids at my daughter’s daycare, and they absolutely delivered! The service was excellent and everything ran right on time. The staff were so friendly, patient, and great with the kids. Everyone had a blast, and the face paint was beautiful and professional. We hired the Ms Rachel character for our daughter’s first birthday party. She was AMAZING!! The kids had so much fun playing interactive games and singing with her! She was such a perfect addition to the party!! Bluu Whale Events was so easy to contact and the customer service is top notch! From start to finish, we had an amazing experience! This was a wishy washy experience for me the day of i was notified that my event would have a change because other events didn’t like the service that i picked, which was a bit weird so left little to no room make changes. It was little hick ups in the consultation part from timing and dates booked incorrectly, which i have understanding since i know a business take a lot. But he caricature artist was the best he arrived early the kids loved him and he worked extremely fast(i had younger group he was really patient with them in the future i would definitely book for him again). The overall experience was good because my son enjoyed his self when i expressed my concerns they did work in a timely fashion to speak to me and help fix the issues which some business won’t even do that. Once the event day hit the one week mark they did communicate in a timely fashion and give us notice of how things should go though it didn’t go as planned i really wished we got the tattoos, but my baby still enjoyed his self. The Minnie character was a HUGE disappointment According to what I paid for. 1 hr of entertainment. There was no entertainment by Minnie. She just walked in. Took pictures with kids. (Only 1 person came) She did not know what to do. I told her are you going to entertain the kids. She was like u put music I will dance. She had no clue at all. Also there was no coloring books offered to the kids (as stated in the description) No other entertainment as stated in their description I paid for. I could have dressed up as Minnie and just did want she did. I needed someone to entertain the kids not for me to tell her what to do. It was a huge disaster. Waste of money. Not worth $250.00!!! They answer your call quickly when you are interested and then they take forever to call back if you are disappointed. According to your reply- no, you did not tell me that you do not accommodate in VA, as well no notification of someone canceling and due to this only one person showing up.
