In 2018 I hired this company to help my fiance and I build an app. They bid for our job and seemed very professional at first. However, over the next few weeks our project was bounced to four different project managers (is there a high turnover rate?) all of whom needed us to re-explain the idea, the finished product we were aiming for, and the theme. Progress was slow because of this constant re-explaining. And just as our new project manager would get the idea, boom, we'd have a new one. No explanation, they just acted like everything was normal. The project was laid out in "stages." Stage one concept, two design, three, pages (I don't remember the exact names of the phases.) And we were supposed to pay in installments based on the phases completed. This seemed reasonable and made me happy because I thought it meant I could make sure the project was moving in the direction I wanted it to. Instead, at our weekly meetings with our project manager of the week, we would be walked through the phase they had half-assed (or more likely just altered a template to vaguely incorporate what we had asked for) and when I asked for changes or alterations to get the project in line with the actual dream (mind you, this was not a very complex app design), they would ask me to pay for their "completed" phase first. I gave in once or twice, but when it was obvious that they were NOT going back and altering the app to the specifications I had required for the previous phase, I asked them to stop the project and did not pay them for any more work on the build. I should have gotten a refund for all of their not-work, But I let them keep my small investment. I'm just glad I pulled out early. More...

My app is complete and functioning. My unhappiness with Bluestone is related to communication. I pay for hosting and have partnered with them (10%ownership) and cannot get an answer on issues with availability on Google Playstore. Additionally, I never received training videos or notes on backend instruction (although I requested it multiple times) 🤬. Feeling trapped in a relationship with a SILENT partner. More...
