Bookkeeping, Taxation and Accounting Services
Blue Book Principal Accountabilities:
1. Monitor fixed assets
2. Pay supplier invoices in a timely manner
3. Pay any debt as it comes due for payment
4. Issue invoices to customers
5. Collect sales taxes from customers and remit them to the government
6. Ensure that receivables are collected promptly
7. Record cash receipts and make bank deposits
8. Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account
9. Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
10. Maintain the petty cash fund (if any)
11. Issue (compiled) financial statements
12. Assemble information for external auditors for the annual audit
13. Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
14. Maintain the chart of accounts
15. Maintain the annual budget
16. Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
17. Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements such as tax preparation
18. Process payroll in a timely manner (if any)
19. Prepare personal and business tax returns
20. Provide consultant service for bookkeeping, taxation and preparation for audits
