We had a great experience with Sue Kim. We were on a tight time line and Sue came through. Our house looked great and we ended up with multiple offers. Working with Sue and the rest of the crew was awesome. Sue was very attentive to our needs and was spot on with what we wanted. We've worked with Sue at Blake Riley homes for various projects and she and her staff have gone over and beyond with each and every one.  She staged our home for listing and made it look absolutely like a model house.  When she was finished, my husband and I were blown away and said to ourselves ... I received so many compliments and raves on my place after Sue finished her talented services.   I've been here for few years now, but it didn't feel as homey and polished as it should have.  Additionally, it was a little unsettling; I always seemed to have something to do or it took me hours to look for something I couldn't find and I never had time to relax. I realized I needed help and fast.  When Sue came into my front door, it was absolutely magical to watch her take a look at my place and just know exactly what was needed. Sue does literally everything home related.  She does staging, interior design, home renovation, kitchen and bathroom remodels, etc.  I hired her for my interior design and organization. The end result was so natural and it just worked in a way I hadn't even imagined. My oddly shaped room is now sophisticated and homey at the same time; my rooms flow beautifully. I forgot too mention a couple of things to consider in addition to all of the positives...While everything turned out to be amazing, there are a few things that you will have to deal with when working with Blake Riley. First, they are busy so they may be able to initiate your project right away. Second, they do not provide detailed estimates and invoices. I get that some of these projects don't warrant a detailed estimate but if you want to understand at the beginning of a project how each decision (e.g. one type of tile over another) will impact the cost, you will not get that level of detail. That said, Sue is a stickler on the budget so she will be strict with you on how to stay on budget that was agreed to at the beginning. If you are like us and waSue worked on the interior redesign of our ocean view condo in Malibu and did such an amazing job that we were able to receive top dollar when we sold it during a buyer's market. She then redesigned our home in Toluca Lake and completely transformed it from a 90s style house into a beautiful home that feels moderm and warm with its transitional themed foundation (floors, walls, cabinets, etc) but with a mid century flavor in the wonderful furniture pieces.  My neighbors and realtor both wanted to hire her instantly after seeing the work she did on our homes. Check out any of the pictures to see how you can transform your own home! My husband and I are very picky about homes so we have looked at hundreds of homes before buying and trust me, you will not find a better staging company out there than Blake Riley Homes! Dare to compare! Now, while everything turned out to be amazing, there are a few things that you will have to deal with when working with Blake Riley. And she tailors her approach based on her clients' tastes. You won't believe how much value and beauty you are putting into your home or office once Sue works her magic! But you need to know your budget and be able to be decisive/consistent with your decisions!...Bottom line - you won't regret hiring Blake Riley but you need to know your budget and be able to be decisive/consistent with your decisions! A couple months ago I started searching for someone to help me with staging my home in preparation for the house to be put on the market.  I've personally had no experience with interior design or anything along those lines, so I knew I needed someone that knew what they were doing in order to present my home as best as possible.  A friend of mine recommended that I reach out to Sue from Blake Riley Homes, as she had recently hired her to redesign a home and had an amazing experience with the company.  I gave Sue a call and not long after that, she was inspecting the rooms and layout of my home to get an idea of what she was working with.  The overall process was very professional and I could tell she was extremely experienced in what she does.  The finished product looked spectacular and I couldn't believe that my home could look like it came out of a magazine photo.  The house sold very quickly after being put on the market, all thanks to Sue's amazing work with my home.  I would highly recommend Blake Riley Homes to anyone needing staging or redesign with their home! Sue is amazing! I first found her through Instagram and messaged her to help me stage my old house! She did an amazing job and she is really easy to work with. She gave me great tips for what's in trend for home decorations and the house got a lot of compliments during the open house (got offers within the first couple of weeks) and from other home owners. Sue helped us on two occasions.  First, she did a stellar job staging our house to put on the market.  Our house sold within weeks and a big credit goes to Sue's staging talents.  She went through each room of our house and told us what needed to go, stay, move, etc.   She later came back for tweaking and put the finishing touches before our open house.  It was awesome and efficient.  After we sold our house, Sue helped us design and decorate our new condo.  She advised on new furniture, window treatments, new flooring, lighting and helped keep a consistent style.  Our old furniture was very traditional and we wanted smaller, modern furniture in our new condo, and still have comfort.  She set up appointments and accompanied us to various merchants and made our transition to the condo very easy.  Any furniture we bought through Sue, we received her designer discounts from all the stores.  She's affordable and listens to our budget needs.  We will definitely use Sue again!
