I’ve thought long and hard about how to review Bill’s performance — clearly, this isn’t an easy review. Om the positive side, he was always very punctual and friendly with communication. I was never waiting for him to answer a question beyond a few hours. He also has several services to provide, including lighting. We were pleased with the lighting and A/V setup. However, I have to admit that I was very disappointed in Bill’s performance as a wedding DJ. His intake form asks for “please play” and “please don’t play” songs. We took requests from guests and just sent everything in a list. I specifically stated in writing that our “please play” was not to be played in order, since these were dance song requests from our guests. Instead. Bill just played the whole list in its exact order, from front to back, which left our guests at a formal wedding eating short ribs while listening to Chingy. I left my table to advise Bill again that the list wasn’t exclusive and shouldn’t be played in order. He made no changes. He also wasn’t concerned that the bride was asking him to make a change. Bill played our first dance, father daughter dance, and my husbands dance with his mom on time and correctly. I’m severely disappointed that he thought “365” was a good dinner song. As a professional, I would have expected a lot more crowd awareness. This was a lower performance than expected but not out of the ordinary. I’m grateful for everything that went right, but regret this choice in retrospect. More...

My partner and I were hoping for a better experience based on Big Bill’s great reviews, but unfortunately we were left quite disappointed during our wedding reception. We want to begin with what we appreciated about Bill. He was very friendly and accommodating to our music preferences. He also coordinated well with the vendor which was very helpful for us. Bill’s DJing during the cocktail hour went well - we had provided him a list of music we wanted played (he was very amenable to this during our planning call) and transitioned well into his own playlist once our songs ended. The trouble began during the reception. We had provided Bill with a first dance song, father/daughter dance song, and mother/groom dance song weeks before the reception. My husband and I waited in the center of the dance floor in awkward silence for minutes while Bill tried to locate the name of our song. Next, my father and I waited in silence for Bill to find our song, only for him to play the incorrect song. My husband had to run over to him and help him find the correct song. Fortunately, he got the song right for the mother/groom dance. We had also asked Bill to only play one slow dance song, he played two. Lastly, the transitions between songs were surprisingly disjointed. One song did not flow nicely into another, but there was awkward silence in between songs. I really enjoyed working with Bill! We were looking for a DJ for our wedding and we had a really quirky playlist of oldies, international music (some French and Italian, even a Filipino song), top 40, meme-y music (Man in finance), Bill had it all in his library and I never had to worry about a thing. We also had our own MP3 that we used for our first dance, Bill could also work with that. All the equipments such as wireless mics, loud speakers, dance floor lights worked well. What makes photo booths such a great alternative to traditional photographers?
The awesome props I provide, the fact they can have their very own photo memento of the party they attended. THEY dictate WHEN they have their photo(s) taken and they usually look nicer.!
What photo booth props do you offer?
Dozens of funny hats and glasses of all shapes and sizes, wigs, boas, leis, helmets, masks, you name it!
What do you love most about your job?
That I can help a roomful of strangers, have a GREAT time listening and dancing to music I play and that they request!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was in stand up comedy and pretty successful, traveling the country. When i found out I was going to be a dad, I stopped. I didn't want to be like the father in Harry Chapin's "Cat's In The Cradle". When my kids were in elementary school, I took them to a family dance and the dj SUCKED! No personality or interaction. I volunteered for the next dance, used my lifelong collection of music, bought a state of the art sound system and did the next dance. The response was amazing! My Dj career took off.
Why should our clients choose you?
I want YOU and your guests to have a GREAT time. Every function I do is an audition for all of the guests. No one can match my music and karaoke collection, or my personality, caring , and love of music.

No, I am an in person dj/photobooth provider. There is no way to adequately provide my services remotely.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I wear a mask and wipe down my equipment. I also stay 6 feet from them. With my photobooth, I disinfect the props in between use.
