Groomer, Doug, was very kind, personable and my dogs were happy and look great. He was very gentle and comforting to them.
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is to see the instant transformation of the pets expressions when they enter our van to when they leave. In some cases pets enter the van in bad shape and their face shows a look of shame and when they leave you see a sudden change in facial expression go to happy, smiling and proud of themselves.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The love for pets wellness inspired me to get into the mobile pet grooming space. As a pet owner, I saw the stress my pets would have to go through when going to a salon. They spend endless hours in cages waiting for a bather to come and wash them, then they are taken to drying kennels where they sit to dry and back into the cage where they have to wait for the groomer to come give a haircut. Once finished with the cut the go back into the cage to wait to be picked up. I would drop my dogs off at 8am and would have to pick them up 4pm. Stress is the number one contributor to health deterioration and the mobile environment, while it's more pricey, it lends itself to a less stressful and anxious place for your pets to be groomed. If we can lessen the amount of stress our pets have to go through, we are adding to years of their life.
