Atlanta Master Electricians was scheduled for a repair after our home office/studio all of a sudden lost power last week. The company immediately emailed a confirmation message detailing the appointment and their contact information . I spoke to the scheduling manager before the two man team arrival. She was extremely nice, polite, and professional. The two Electricians Mr. Sherman and Mr. Keino did outstanding work. They arrived and quickly assessed the issue and began to make necessary repairs. Both gentlemen were friendly and knowledgeable while explaining the steps to getting our power back up. When they finished, everything was put back neatly and timely. And being that my studio was full of glass, equipment and tools it was nice to know they took great care in maneuvering to find possible outlet issues. They were done in less than an hour. I requested a quote to install my Tesla Charger, and Atlanta Master Electricians replied immediately. They sent Ron out the next day. I showed him to the breaker box in the garage and explained what I wanted. He took a few notes, asked a few questions, and said he'd send me the quote the next day. I have three houses, so this is the third home I've had a charger installed, so I'm familiar with the process and the price point. So, needless to say, I was appalled at the $2000 quote considering the standardness of the materials mentioned in the quote (except for the "etc."). Our home was built in the mid 70’s during a copper shortage and was wired with aluminum. In order to keep within current regulations, we needed to have Alumicon connectors installed so aluminum and copper would not meet. The two metals heat and cool at different rates which may cause issues in some instances. We got several estimates but went with Atlanta Master Electricians. Ron is very knowledgeable on aluminum wiring. He made some good suggestions based on our needs. We felt comfortable having them do the job. When the job date arrived, Ron and Umarr were on time and worked hard to get the work completed. They were very professional and cleaned up after.
