How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
I help my clients achieve their fitness goals by designing personalized training experiences that honor their unique bodies, goals, and lifestyles. Through ASCEND Body by Betty, I combine my background in dance, strength training, and functional movement to create sessions that are both challenging and sustainable.
We focus on quality of movement, not just reps or weight. Whether we're working on balance, mobility, core strength, or endurance, I tailor each workout to build long-term strength, resilience, and confidence—especially for adults 30+ who want to feel empowered, not overwhelmed.
More than just workouts, I offer guidance, accountability, and encouragement so that fitness becomes a seamless, uplifting part of your everyday life. Together, we move with purpose—so you can feel strong in your body and energized in your life.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Consisten, balanced habits that support your body and mind. Prioritize 7-8 hours of quality sleep, stay well-hydrated, and nourish yourself with whole, nutritious foods. Move your body every day, incorporating strength training with weights heavier than 10 pounds at least five times a week. And don’t forget to get outside and play—joyful movement is key to lasting fitness and vitality!
What do you love most about your job?
I love empowering people to strengthen, transform, and transcend—physically and mentally. There’s nothing more fulfilling than watching a client reconnect with their body, gain confidence, and shift fitness from a chore into a lifestyle. I get to witness movement become one of their superpowers—something that energizes them, grounds them, and elevates every part of their life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My own transformation inspired me to create a space where others could experience the same empowerment and vitality I found through fitness and dance. Movement, in particular strength training, helped me reconnect with my body, rebuild my confidence, and reclaim my energy—and I knew I had to share that. ASCEND Body by Betty was born from a desire to turn my passions into purpose and help others rise through intentional, joyful movement.

Absolutely. I offer hybrid training options to fit your lifestyle—whether you prefer in-person sessions, virtual coaching, or a mix of both. You can train with me live via FaceTime or WhatsApp, or follow a fully personalized workout plan delivered through my user-friendly app (free for all clients), complete with suggested weights, sets, reps, and timing. This flexibility allows you to stay consistent whether you're at home, traveling, or meeting in person on the Upper East Side.
