I am a local Realtor and will not list a home without Keatin's work! Keatin is a master colorist! I have never seen her color design any home the same way. She takes in the site, the light, the owner's art, furniture and rugs, etc. so that the finished color board is truly a one of a kind personal color statement. Additionally, Keatin is instrumental in creating an overall look/style so that every decision made relates back to that vision. I had tried several test colors on my walls and was completely frustrated before I heard about Keatin. She came highly recommended as a colorist and designer. She returned my call right away, showed up with her kit of color chips, helped me pick a beautiful color scheme and set me up with a terrific painter. Keatin is a superb color consultant. She takes on your project as a unique challenge, not as an occasion to apply some cookbook approach. She listens to what you are trying to achieve, spends the needed time with your house and its setting, and then proposes a set of colors that may surprise you but will, before long, please you. She is conversant with the hundreds of colors of paint available from the leading paint manufacturers and is skilled in working with your painting contractor to assure that her vision is realized in the final product. <br>I hired Keatin when I was preparing my home for sale. She ended up advising me on the exterior color scheme and the colors of all the rooms. She also chose the floor and wall tile for two bathrooms. Keatin truly transformed my apartment. The colors she selected were great. She walked through the apartment with me room by room and discussed options and alternatives. Keatin is great--I would definitely work with her again and recommend her to my friends. <br><br>I have had my loft in SF for about 5 years and was never a huge fan of the primary wall color (kind of a yellow). I wanted to repaint and had some ideas, but wanted some help to finalize the color scheme, especially because my place is more or less one continuous space--so I wasn't quite sure how and where to mix colors. I was looking for someone to help me choose colors for the walls, but not to drag out the process into a long and expensive ordeal.<br><br>Keatin came by and immediately got to work. She wasn't rushed, but she worked really efficiently and didn't waste time--which I really appreciated as I had mentioned I was hoping to keep the consult to 2-3 hours (which she did). I generally liked her aesthetic, and I appreciated that she suggested some unexpected things, some of which I liked (one of the colors she suggested for my downstairs bathroom I never would have chosen, but it ended up being maybe my favorite color in my place). For those suggested colors I didn't respond to, she didn't push too hard to try to make me go her way. Instead, I found that she really aimed to understand what my aesthetic was and what I was going for, and helped me make the best choices along those lines (rather than railroading me with a different aesthetic).<br><br>At the end of the process she got back to me with a color board that had paint chip samples of all the colors (with indications of which ones were going on which walls), along with a spec sheet that I could give to the painters, which said exactly which colors (and correlating paint finishes) were going where.<br><br>Great experience and my place now looks wonderful! This is a follow-up to my earlier review.  I now realize how incredibly wonderful it is to live in a home with beautiful colors.  Every time I walk in the door, I love where I live.  Keatin, this is a huge thank you for your brilliance!  The calming and peaceful neutrals are anything but bland...they are sophisticated and calming.  In addition, the metallic accent walls are AMAZING!  Our furniture and our art have never looked this well. Not only that, but you were able to transform our teen's room into a stunning retreat. The ceiling is this yummy smokey color and the walls are gorgeous and hip...all very teen-friendly yet blending perfectly with the sophisticated palette used in the rest of our home.  I love my house.  I love how working with color alone, you've been able to make magic happen.  If you are considering painting any part of your home, I would recommend (highly) calling Keatin.  She is truly amazing.
