My company is small. It is just me and someone that helps me out every now and again. My goal in starting my company was to work with people I enjoy working with and make a decent living. I did not set out to create a large bookkeeping business and spread myself too thin.

What kind of accounting services do you provide?
I provide all bookkeeping/accounting up until to the tax return. Each client is different in their needs but services can include: categoration of transactions, bank and credit card statement reconciliations, sales tax, payroll, account receivable, accounts payable reconciliation of additional balance sheet accounts.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
On a regular basis business owners need to be able to see their financial statements to keep an eye on their business. Up to date financials statements are needed for their CPA to do their taxes. A bookkeeper is generally less than expensive than a CPA firm to do the day to day bookkeeping. But it is also a good idea to have 2 sets of eyes on the books.
What do you love most about your job?
I love reconciling stuff. I love cleaning up a bookkeeping mess. I love working with small business owners to find out what their needs are and helping them structure their books in a away the works for them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
In many of my old jobs I worked for companies that had multiple entities, so I was used to working with multiple companies. I thought I can do that for a variety of people.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am fast and efficient. As I said, I love what I do. My goal is always to produce a set of financials that a business owner can use to run their business and a their CPA can easily do a tax return.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
All of my clients are remote. Bank and credit card statements are giving to me through a variety ways. Some email, some use Google Docs and some clients give me a login to be able to retrieve the statements myself. Generally those logins allow me to simply look and have access to do transactions. Zoom & Google Meets are also a great way to keep in touch.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
At this point in time, COVID 19 is not a factor in my business.
