Working with a “life coach”, or whatever you may, is great if they have the wisdom, ear, and skills to work with you for a time of need, but working with a mentor/guide who genuinely is concerned about you and your destiny is life altering. Wisdom and guidance are terrific, but if there is no genuine compassion and connection to uphold that wisdom, it can be troublesome. This is because when a life coach or mentor gives guidance to a person that they were or can become (i.e. step into their shoes), then change can come. Mr Delaney has been this exactly for me. In trouble spiritually, academically, emotionally, even financially, his concern has not been in receiving himself, but rather guiding people to the fullness of their life from a place of genuine compassion.
