If I could, I would rate AJ's Personal Training higher than a five. I'm a 65-year-old retired nurse practitioner, just starting exercise exercise to improve my strength, flexibility, and balance. So naturally, I was afraid of injury, but AJ's knowledge and attention to muscle detail was invaluable. She taught me how to safely accomplish my goals. Being disabled with limited mobility, I was unsure of trying the personal training route, but did not improve much with physical therapy and actually hurt quite a lot more. However, AJ was knowledgeable and helped by improving my flexibility gently. In the future will be working on strengthening the muscle around my arthritic joints and improving my balance. When I began with Amy I did not know how It would go, or if I would be able to be helped. I was at ground zero. My balance was off, I was weak, I was afraid of falling, and I had little to no energy.
I was walking with a walker, but even though people say walking is enough, it was not enough for me. I needed more and I knew it. I decided on a personal trainer and I am so happy I found Amy.
She has helped me in so many ways. At first I was walking with two walking sticks, then a cane, and now nothing. I have had physical therapy before due to my hip and knee surgery, but it has not helped me as much as Amy. I admit, she puts me through the (ringer), but it is worth it.
I have been going to Amy for 3 months and I can definitely tell the difference. I plan to continue indefinitely. I would recommend her to anyone. She makes exercising fun. Plus you feel you have accomplished something.
