Laura planned my wedding in Farmington and the entire event couldn't have gone more perfectly! We worked together for the last 5 months leading up to my event and she was over-the-top helpful, considerate, passionate, organized. Laura attended every vendor meeting - took diligent notes to ensure every request was full-filled - made hundreds of phone calls on my behalf. Her love and passion for her craft was apparent and her confidence is so reassuring! I never worried things would not work out. Literally last minute I had a moment of small things falling apart where I said to my mother, if I did not have Laura I would have been on the floor crying. She was on the horn changing and fixing last minute vendor issues all day for the three days leading up to my wedding and I absolutely could not have done it without her. She is a tiny fireball of energy - she set a dining room for 170 from linens to chairs to every dish and spoon making sure it was perfect. An all-around incredible human and amazing company to work with. I can't believe I almost didn't hire a wedding planner! I recently attended an off-site wedding event. The Event Coordinator, Laura, was so engaging and on top of everything! Everyone was incredibly impressed by how well Laura handled all of the logistics and remained composed throughout the event. Having worked with Agathi & Co. and The Arbor Loft for weddings, as a photographer, and also personal use for events, I can only boast of their above-and-beyond service and willingness to make visions and dreams come to life! The Loft is extremely spacious and flooded with natural light and minimal but eye catching decor. The space speaks for itself and is the perfect canvas to add your personal touches to. Agathi is inviting and makes herself available to answer all questions and needs. She is courteous, thoughtful, and a joy to work with, as is her staff, and all their servers/bartenders. We made our way back to Maker's Gallery for our next event. This was the annual accumulated intern project event for Adriana M. Adriana M. did an excellent job at organizing a well put together event for this evening, and really came out of her shell in the past year. Combining both together gives you a complete Ying and Yang experience, and whether you like it or not, "when we go low, we then go HIGH".Hosting an event at Makers is an excellent choice since we all know by now they have their famous doughnuts' by the owner/ Doughnut King himself-Zach. Catering the event was none other than Steven from Relish, who has appeared in multiple magazines for his ideas of farm to fresh ingredients' which are incorporated into everyday dinner meals. Steven received his skills by starting off working at Lento Restaurant, and built upon those ideas to grow his catering empire. His hors d' oeuvres rocked the house, as they were devoured in 2 seconds. As usual, Tea Witch Tea was there to provide some much needed herbal remedies with their sampling of their various brews. With plenty of comfy seating, I was joined by fellow Naz. B., Marissa N., and Shannon E. Also making a guest appearance was our former intern Laura C., who came on to cheer Adriana M. With our teas and doughnuts' in hand, it was time to meet the BOSSES!Sarah from ROC Girl Gang- a graphic designer who lived in the Rochester area for 10 years, she now works to collaborate with local artists, entrepreneurs, and anyone who has that creative energy to put something forward. She became well known here in Rochester by her Rochester Street Sign Print, and from that point on she began to collaborate with others to promote various goods, and services. She came up with the concept of "promoting YOUR brand", and she will do the leg work through ART- sound familiar-now that's GIRL POWER!Kirstin D. from Girl Develop IT ROC- This local techy brings together women developers, and programmers in a male dominated field. She specializes in a variety of held classes such as Intro to Databases that she holds through meetup. Kristin creates a forum where questions are ok to ask, and will help you learn better if you do. She holds many Rise and Shine meetups to bring local girl leaders together through her local chapter of Girl Development. Agathi G. from Agathi and Co. - Now this boss develops a full service event planning, and fashion consulting company. Agathi's website is one of best I have seen in regards to promoting her brand. She has done many weddings, and private events all over the area. Not only is she HOT, but she has put together this HOT Girl Power Dream Team to help plan your events!!
