Went to Acerage last night for a friends birthday with 7 other woman. The ordering process on the takeaway app is awful and beyond frustrating. It is not explained that when joining the “party” on the app it means you’re all on one tab. We assumed to make sure we were all under the same name for food delivery purposes. You can’t always tell when the order has been submitted. When I placed my drinks and food order, somehow the drinks submitted but food didn’t. So everyone had food and we didn’t realize until we opened the app again and could see it wasn’t on the bill. ONE staff member was very forthcoming about the fact that the app is awful and no one likes it including staff. There was also major attitude from a server who brought over fries that we didn’t order. She insisted that we did order them, and then asked what we wanted done with them. Not sure if you’re staff is over worked and underpaid but almost everyone we encountered had an attitude. I won’t be back. More...
