We worked with Dave Grace and A Classical Studio for many months in designing home renovation plans for our 80 year-old bungalow house in Atlanta. We wanted to add considerable living space while keeping with the design and character of the old 1930's existing house. Dave listened to all of our ideas and made them come to life with the design that he and his team developed. He was patient with changes and iterations we made along the way and was extremely accommodating and pleasant to work with. A Classical Studio team remained engaged as needed even during construction to assist with any in-the-moment that arose, which we greatly appreciated. We came to David Grace and his associates with building plans of a home we liked in Montana. They carefully listened to us describe how we wanted to have a similar timber and stone design, but wanted it to have southern (Atlanta area) influence. Their “sure we can do that” attitude, creative talent and willingness to work closely with builder, made for a great experience. More...

David Grace and I have worked together professionally for around 20 years. We have collaborated on projects around the southeast and as far south as St Thomas in the USVI.
His unique ability to communicate with clients and other professionals alike, has resulted in an extremely high moral factor within ACS. In addition he provides the levity serious pursuits require to keep momentum going and to make them enjoyably.
Dave continually demonstrates an outstanding sense of responsibility and complete reliability in design performance as well as exceptional attention to detail. His devotion to historical constructs have earned him the utmost respect of his peers.
