I came here with a group of four friends and myself and we had a delightful time. The decor in this place is trendy and fun and there were many parties around us having a great time and we even spotted one of the actors from Sex and The City enjoying the restaurant as well. For $48, they had a very generous prefix menu, which included an amuse bouche, a starter, a main dish and a dessert which I thought was very reasonably priced and was quite good.I would recommend this restaurant! One of my favorite places to eat in Palm Springs. Whether your having drinks at the bar or dining on the back patio it is quite a fantastic experience to dine at Eight4Nine. .. The menu is very well put together And the chef is quite skilled. I love to dine outside on the back patio because they are super dog friendly and the audience is incredible. Most nights their casting a black-and-white movie from the fifties on the far wall and it just really makes for a magical night... Tom, the manager, is so incredible always engaging always helpful . I enjoyed this restaurant mostly from the decor and service. Staff was supremely attentive and it has a vibrant ambience to it. My wife didn't care for it too much, but it's all subjective to individuals. Food was tasty and we'll executed as to what the menu stated. Presentation & flavor were good. I noticed in all courses (I chose the 4 course)seemed a bit sugary, whether it was the starters or fried chicken, that's just positive criticism. AMAZING PLACE!! My now bride and myself hosted our rehearsal dinner here. The ambiance and attention to detail was unmatched! Willie personally spoke with us during planning and was present during the rehearsal dinner. His warm domineer and flexibility with the set menu really made things run smoothly. Oh, and the food was simply amazing as well, both when we went for tasting and for the actually event. I love this place. I have been a good number of times now and I can say all of the food is delicious. Whether for lunch, dinner, or weekend brunch. For lunch I can highly recommend the burger. I can barely finish it because it is so big. For dinner I love the carne asada. The best in town. But I order so many different things I cannot list them all

I've only enjoyed lunch at Eight4Nine and I was quite impressed with their $9.00 lunch menu. I found the food tasty and the portion size typical for a lunch serving.
I loved the ambience and I recommend taking the time to stroll through the different rooms. The wait staff is friendly and wanting to accommodate their patrons.

My wife and I got married in Palm Springs this past October and had our Welcome Dinner for about 110 guests at Eight4Nine. The best way to put it- Willie made it easy. Everything was so perfectly executed and Willie made the setup, food, flow, everything seamless. It allowed for everyone to have the greatest time and went off without a hitch. We had a "Tropical Chic" theme where everyone was in Hawaiians and florals and Willie did everything to service our theme for the evening. I cant say enough great things about the space (we had the entire event on outside patio), the vibe, and the responsiveness of Eigh4Nine. friend took me here for a lunch and a cocktail. at first i was like ehhhh. till i tasted the food and drinks!!!! Great service, great food. The bloody mary is well balanced, a tad of spice, and good complimentary veggies, ordered two (not normal unless they're good). The lobster roll was a bit on the heavy side, but still really good, I think too much bread - the paired salad was great though. Grilled cheese was interesting as they use goat cheese and honey on a thick potato bread, heavy but really delicious.

All in all I recommend the visit, the interior design of this place is unique and fun. Quite chic and modern in a European classy kind of way, but still fun. More...
