31E Designs’ objective is to design beyond the trends of today and create personality filled spaces that speak to who my clients are on a personal level. Trends are created to be used by the masses, which can be a great resource. However, as the designer and owner of 31E Designs, I want to help my clients use trends to enhance their personal style and step out of the design box that becomes the standard.

Erin has an amazing eye for style. I was able to tell Erin the general direction we wanted to go, and she literally took it from there and made our new home absolutely gorgeous. She is easy to work with, and made the process extremely easy. I would highly recommend Erin to anyone!! She’s the best! More...

5 stars for Erin's staging! I've had lots of positive comments from people seeing my recent listing staged by Erin. The seller even said she felt more at home with the staging than when the house was filled with her furniture. And 31E was more affordably priced than the rest of the crowd. More...

Erin designed my granddaughter's bedroom, before she was even born! Now, 2 1/2 years later, it is still beautiful, appropriate and functional! Thanks Erin!

Erin played an instrumental role in our successful kitchen remodel project! She is fun to work with, efficient, responsive and a great listener.
Her recommendations and ideas incorporated but also elevated our personal preferences. Our new cabinets, countertop, tiles and flooring all look great and work amazingly well together - a testament to her talent. She also contributed thoughtful structural design ideas to the project which were much appreciated.
We highly recommend 31E Designs!

Erin came highly recommended to us by a realtor friend. We were astonished by Erin's vast knowledge of architecture and design.
She not only helped us choose colors, tiles, textures, and accessories, but offered advise about the actual remodel that helped us with some major decisions. Erin introduced us to HOUZZ where we purchased most of the furniture, fixtures and accessories for our remodel.
Photos of our remodel with Erin's design ideas can be seen on Erin's website: erin@31edesigns.com

31E Designs was an essential part of our main floor renovation from start to finish! We could not have done it without her! The scope and scale of our project felt so intimidating, we didn’t know where to start. Erin knew, and she jumped right in. She initially drew up several design options for our kitchen & great room then worked with us to finalize a design plan that met our needs exactly. She worked with us every step of the way, helping secure excellent vendors and resources for everything from cabinets, to flooring and tile. Her ability to see the big picture from start to finish was essential to bringing all the pieces of our project together in a visually cohesive way that reflected our taste and style. We could not be more thrilled with the finished product and would recommend 31E Designs to anyone considering a major or minor remodel of their living space! More...

We loved working with Erin! We had never worked with an interior designer before, and Erin was super patient and flexible. Our initial plan of "just give us a floor plan and some design guidance" went so well that we kept asking her for additional services. She put together mood board options for each room, showing combinations of pieces and fabrics. She shopped online for us to help us stay within our budget, and once we'd decided what to get she sent a detailed list of pieces and links for where to buy them. I hadn't shopped online before for furniture and Erin was was right, it was easy and we were happy with the quality we received. She was always cheerful and was an excellent communicator about estimated time and costs for her services and very considerate of our budget. We were SO happy we hired her. :-) More...

What’s your interior design process?
Meeting with potential clients to get to know them and their design goals is the first thing I like to do. It allows me to better understand them, their struggles with the process, what they want to accomplish and how I am able to help. My approach to a project varies depending on the type of project, but I definitely like to give my clients options to create a foundation that we are then able to build from.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
Any and all. I have my personal style(s) I enjoy, but as a designer, I feel I am here to help my clients find and express their own styles. I know the fundamentals of design and am able to pick up on and understand my clients' goals. This allows me to hear what they are saying, put my design knowledge to use, which, can be applied to any style and create spaces that are beyond what they expect....with their help.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the process of stripping everything away, assessing what is left, how it can be changed and then molding things to how we want them to be. So many times, my clients think they have to design around what is already there allowing those elements to control where the design takes us. Sometimes, you just have to remove all the visual clutter, sit in the space for a bit and allow the creativity to take over.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Design is very subjective, as is the approach to design. I am very client oriented and want my clients to be a big part of the design process. Instead of possibly compromising on that to work for someone else, I decided to create my own company where my clients understand I appreciate their presence and importance in the process.
Why should our clients choose you?
To kind of piggyback the idea in the previous section, one of my main goals is to be a selfless designer. Trust that I will tell my clients no and reign them back in when necessary, but I appreciate when they do the same to me. I started in this field to help people create their perfect homes. Spaces where they can retreat, relax and just be themselves. That happens when we create spaces that represent who they are, with a lot of designer/client collaboration. I get to be my clients' guiding compass in the design world, I appreciate that.
