We hired 1uP Music for our company’s end-of-the-year party, and they were simply incredible. From start to finish, they were extremely flexible with the planning process and a true partner in helping us make the event a success.

Damion’s and Mike’s energy and engagement throughout the evening were outstanding. The sound effects during our award ceremony made it feel like the Oscars—elevating the experience for everyone involved. The music selection was spot-on, they managed to strike the perfect balance, keeping the vibe fun and getting people on the dance floor.

Damion and his team were amazing! Damion helped our school with two winter dances, each having over 600 students and parents. The kids sang along and danced and the music was awesome! I truly enjoyed working with Damion and his DJ partner Noel (sp?). Damion did his best to cover all the bases with the songs and the different events and understand the tone and the style we were going for… He was very patient with me and when I came up with very late responses, he just went with the flow and helped make the wedding a success. All the planning was very rushed on my end, and he just stood by and tried to help me make the most of it. I ended up not even doing half the stuff I had planned, he had to tee up a lot of songs and introductions that we didn’t end up doing but he wasn’t mad that he had done the work and then I decided not to do it. He just did his best to make sure everything went smoothly, made announcements when I asked him to, and went with whatever came up as I did everything off the cuff. Noel went around and got everyone to say something and kept the party lively; he was the “hype” man that creates a fun atmosphere. The dance music was flowing, he even let me karaoke a song. I was a little frazzled that day, and they really took the pressure off, made me realize that everything was fine, and helped make it a good time. Firstly Dj 1up was very early at the venue in setting up and doing his music checks to ensure everything sounded on point. He was dressed very professional and appropriately for the occasion , which is the wedding he was playing at and he spoke to everyone find out if there’s anything we needed in particular otherwise from that what was on the list to be played or anything extra that he could do. He was very accommodating, Dj 1up was the best Dj we could’ve asked for , it’s like he knew exactly what to play to keep everyone dancing and moving all night. Honestly he’s the best at what he does , he’s awesome and whenever I’m having another event I’ll most definitely need him . I will recommend 10/10 in our book. More...
