The team from Xtra Maid came to clean my home this morning and exceeded my expectations.  To be fair, this isn't a small thing as my expectations are quite high and my husband and I were both recovering from surgeries so it was worse than usual (uncluttered but dusty)!  When I came home afterward, I saw that my house is turnkey if I was selling it - it is THAT clean.  They even cleaned the back storm door and inside of the fridge and my toaster looks brand new.  I am planning to move in a few months and when I do, I will be calling them again.  It took a little longer than I thought for them to finish, but their thoroughness made it all worth the wait.  STRONGLY RECOMMEND XTRA MAID! I've used them weekly for a year. These women are thorough and leave it spotless. They are professionals that get the job done always. It's 3500 sq.ft. So, it's a big job. The company would send two ladies to clean our house every 2 weeks. They did a great job getting our pet hair up and were fastidious about every detail. They worked for us for 5 years, and never failed to show up on the schedule day. My neighbors (who keep an immaculate house) recommended Xtra Maid when I was looking for a cleaning service. I emailed Gabriel on a Saturday and he was able to give me a quote the same day and explain the services they provide. The cleaning itself was fabulous. The ladies did everything from the baseboards to the inside of the refrigerator! It was an extremely thorough cleaning and our house has never looked better. So i used these guys while in South Austin under a different name.  I searched for them when I bought a house a month ago in Leander, but they did not come up.  I figured they did not go up that far north and it had been a couple of years so I did not have their contact details anymore.  Then I have a major issue with paint spray being sucked up through the intake and dispersed through my whole house via the ventilation system. (That would be another review).  I called several places who would not help me because of the risk of making things worse.  ServePro said to just replace everything.  That would be not just all of the furniture in my house, but the hardwood floors, carpet, rugs.  In my brand new has not even been completed for a month house.  I noticed I recognize the name of the main contact for Xtra Maid and give them a call.  Sure enough it is the same service I had before.  Gabriel came out on a Saturday to look things over and give an estimate.  We agreed upon limitations to make sure they did not make anything worse and a price, the ladies were out on Sunday with Gabriel explaining to them everything that we had discussed the day before. 4 women, and 8 hours later my house is immaculate.  Such a great job I even set them back up for weekly service.  Thank goodness they go out to Leander.  I was thinking about getting a maid from care.com who could charge hourly but also do laundry, dishes, maybe cook, but all I found there were people who lied about being smokers and people who left me waiting and had their phone disconnected.  I am very happy to have a clean house again and going forward. Xtra Maid sent two friendly, hard working women to clean our home. They arrived 15 minutes early with everything necessary to clean.  They needed very little instruction since I had texted my expectations to the company prior to their arrival.Their quiet, efficient work left us with a clean smelling, dirt free, dust free, leather couch conditioned, fresh scrubbed kitchen as well as clean sheets on the bed and fancy folds to the bathroom towels......we are very satisfied and looking forward to having them in our home next month. I emailed late on a Friday night inquiring about one-time service Saturday or Sunday.  The owner, Gabriel, responded early the next morning and set up service for Sunday.  The woman who came to clean appeared allergic to my cats (and was dealing with cleaning dust/fur), but continued without a word.  She did such a thorough job that I may consider using this company for regular service.  I was so pleased with the prompt reply by the owner, scheduling last minute for a Sunday, and the maid's overall attention to detail. I had a kitchen remodel done and my house was covered in dust, so I hired Capital Cleaning Service to clean the house after the remodel. Gabriel came out to do an estimate and was professional and on time.  They were very understanding in that I had to change the date multiple times because the remodel was running behind. Once the cleaning day arrived, Karen came early and did a fabulous job!  There was some confusion where Karen did the amount of work expected on her next house, but she quickly recognized her error and returned to complete the work.  Quality was above my expectations, only problems were minor communication issues.  Easily solved.  I will definitely hire them again. Gabriel and his team are fantastic! We first found them for a house move-out and since then, they have been cleaning our house every other week for the past 2 years. They show up when they say they will and their crews are consistent and thourough. We often don't realize how much they clean until we use the toaster oven or the microwave days later and it's a pleasant surprise!  Their prices are also reasonable compared to other services we have used through the years that don't even come close to their attention to detail. I've been using Capital Cleaning for almost a year now, and they do a great job.  Anna cleans my house in North Austin and she does wonderful work.  I have two cats and lots of cat hair all over my furniture and beds, and she vacuums it all up.  I've had a hard time finding someone to clean that will vacuum the furniture, and it does little good to clean every other surface but leave pet hair on the upholstery. I've been very pleased with Gabrielle too, who schedules my cleaning, and is good about sending me reminders before they come.  I think you'll be pleased with the quality of work this company does. Amazing service. Showed up on time and worked nonstop for at least 6 hours on my house. If you find them through Angies List you get 10% off the first cleaning.  They even take out each bulb and clean those. It has taken weeks to find a service that I could count on AND worked with my schedule. I look forward to our next scheduled cleaning already.
