I’ve been a member since the Derry location was open and I love this gym. It has about 90 to 95% of the necessary equipment for advanced bodybuilding. I also must stress a negative. I truly do wish people would leave their cell phones off the floor. It’s turning into a Internet cafe!! At times this gym may be under equipped for the amount of members and it’s just a serious pain when people surf the net or do whatever while seated on the equipment needed by other members whom attend the gym to train seriously. Nice gym with decent equipment. Some of the equipment is getting on in years and could use to have the covering redone, but all in all a good gym with free weights plenty of cardio equipment functional training area, a CrossFit style rig and one of the few gyms I've seen with a deadlift platform. Also great price on the smoothies and shakes. Deserves 5 stars if they repair the torn bench covers.Top notch gym that's why I ended up adding them to a growing list of memberships More...

Great club! I've been a member since the opening. They recently upgraded all the fitness equipment, replaced carpeting, added TVs. Well-maintained, bright gym! The instructors and classes are excellent. My only recommendations would be to add core classes (Pilates) as there is only one, fix the spotty wireless, and post up-to-date scheduling information on the web site as everyone uses Facebook. Been going to the Salem workout club for about 2 months. Management and the trainers are amazing people. Not only is the gym elite but the staff as well. It is a great place. Like other reviews say its expensive, I wouldn't know about it since I have joined through my employer insurance and pay a fixed fee. However, the first day I visited I did tons of things to try the place out. Strength training, rock climbing, steam and shower.I have nothing but good words for this place.Excellent, and the staff treated me very nicely too, despite of how other places do when you say you are through insurance tie-up. There is no food at the Manchester one, people who are talking about the food are talking about the londonderry one or one of the other ones. Good place to work out if you don’t go between 4-6pm. They have one douche worker who catcalls the woman, guy shaved his head and is a tatted up meathead. Go to the other gyms to avoid bad employees since Stu left the Manch one. More...
