You have to check this place out, absolutely amazing! Cornell and Nicole are awesome, one on one personal training for an affordable price in addition to small group. I’ve been through several common workout places in this area and paid a lot where it was difficult to get the attention I needed to improve MY body, just run of the mill money making businesses, but this place is no joke. If you’re serious about working out, they develop the program for you & just do what they ask, simple! Cornell is absolutely amazing. I honestly don't know how he charges the price he does, by far worth the money he asks for, I feel bad paying that much, it's $350 a month, 5 Days a week for 60 hours each session. I'm addition diet plan he does on his own, breakfast on weekends before workouts & gift card to nail salon just for coming as an insensitive he doesn't even need to do, omg it's crazy!!I've paid numerous personal training small group training (Samantha Taylor & Studio Fit of Tampa) training and it was all about the money for them, learned no rhythm and no understanding of why I'm doing the exercises I am, no correction to fix it, just rush rush rush to get you out & to see their next patient, damn shame, but understandable it's a "business," and personal training just isn't cheep!Trust me, try this place out, connect with Cornell and his partner, Nicole, it's just the two of them, huge workout center & very personable people, realistic about how to get someone in bad shape into great shape.This is an example I texted him personally the other day:Just got done working out with Nicole, she's awesome too! You guys are by far the best trainers I've ever experienced or heard about from others experiences. You are motivating, incredibly knowledgeable and can tell you love your jobs by the way you treat your patients. Excellent job at giving visual demonstrations and verbal education with no rush.So glad I found your place, you've got a great business you've developed for yourself and it's going to get huge. Cornell and Nicole are great.  Funny and personable.  In terms of personal training it is very personal.  Exercises are goal directed and they go at your pace. Hours are really flexible. I work late so being able to go at 7 or 8 pm is great.  They also are very understanding of last minute changes and are happy to reschedule. They are open on weekends and will also do Skype or give me home regimens when I'm out of town or can't make it.  Gym is clean.  They vary the workouts so it never gets boring. And unlike big chains you don't feel cheated or taken advantaged of or some faceless customer.  I already convinced some of my family to also attend. They do couple or friend/group sessions too.  They have different packages for at little as 1 month to much longer if desired. More...

Cornell is an excellent trainer. I started working out with him without any previous exercise experience. He showed me the right way to eat and exercise and his kind and friendly nature made me feel good about continuing my sessions. I just completed my second week but I can already feel a difference, especially in my energy! Cornell is a dedicated trainer that finds what motivates YOU. .. He often texts me on days I am not in the gym to check on me. Cornell is putting a work plan together for me while I am on vacation and can't be at the gym. Cornell is a knowledgable and motivating trainer. The workouts are tailored and customized to deal with back issues and I've had awesome results from consistent 2 or 3 times a week. He puts together a meal plan and stays on me about my eating which I definitely require. I'm seeing muscle tone and definition that wasn't there a few months ago, as well as being down to a weight I  haven't seen in over 15 years. Hitting the punching bag is my favorite! More...

I can tell Cornell is very experienced with personal training. Very knowledgeable and takes his time in teaching to make sure you are doing it right. Cornell has also helped me a lot with food choices and making sure I stay healthy and fit. There's no other trainer that I know that would go above and beyond like he does. Cornell gets 5 stars plus! He has exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Not only is he incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, he is also very down to earth and fun.  He is tough on you and constantly makes you sweat, but it's worth it. He is very intuitive, just the right amount of push and pull. Cornell has a wonderful way of knowing what you need without intimidation or judgement. I hate working out, but I now look forward to it. I've been training with Cornell at Tru U Fitness from the day it opened. The Studio has a great vibe with privacy where I feel comfortable training in. Cornell will begin by assessing your exercise capabilities, along with a short conversation determining your goals such as the amount of exercise per week, meal plan and target weight/skill, etc. His prices are reasonable being that you get all the one-on-one attention along with follow ups from him preparing you for the next appointment. He's also very accessible, I've contacted him several times about food questions and he usually responds right away. I've accomplished my goals that I've set with him and will continue to go with him to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I highly recommend Tru U Fitness, especially if you're like me where big gyms are not for you and want real one-on-one training. More...
