I can honestly say a few things that really made me feel comfortable with Kat when meeting her for the first time was her friendly positive energy through emails. Kat and Jake were incredible to work with! They came in with some wonderful ideas for shots and were very open to any of our own ideas. They often traded angles, where Kat would get a straight-on shot of something and Jake would get a to-the-side or raised angle leading to some really incredible captures. They traveled all the way up to Buffalo for our wedding and we couldn't be more happy with the final photos! More...

Kat & Jake drove all the way to Buffalo (from Pittsburgh) to shoot our wedding (and they did it directly after shooting another wedding in Pittsburgh! ). They were so patient and caring throughout the day. Kat would often get a straight-on shot while Jake would get an alternative angle (whether from the side or from a higher standpoint) - and this led to some incredible captures. Some of our guests even came up to them for shots of their own throughout the night and they were incredibly accommodating. My wife's favorite part was our reveal in front of the hotel fountain and there were some incredible shots there. In addition, we were able to get a cigar shoot together with my friends & party toward the middle of the night that was also very special to me. More...

Our package included an engagement and boudoir session along with 8 hours of wedding day coverage. We were beyond pleased with our photographs from each session and felt 100% comfortable each time. Kathleen did my daughters first birthday pictures...twice!! My daughter was just not cooperating during our original appointment so we decided to try again another day and the photo shoot turned out perfect! Kat and her assistant, Jenna, did our wedding photos and they turned out AMAZING. We are so happy with them! When we shared some on social media, several people who we don’t see regularly reached out to say how beautiful they thought the photos were! Additionally, several guests at our wedding commented on how hard the photographers were working, which I definitely noticed at some points (thanks for working outside in the dark and freezing rain!!) but I had actually forgotten they were there for a lot of the day which I thought was the sign of a GREAT team. They were working so hard getting the most amazing photos, but were doing it in a way that didn’t distract us or were doing it so naturally we didn’t notice which allowed us to be totally immersed in enjoying our wedding + receive amazing photos at the end. We just received our engagement photos back from Kat and are in love. Her portfolio of work was easy to choose based on its quality for the price when comparing to other photographers in the area. Once I emailed her and we began talking I knew she was gonna be the photographer for us. Kat was super easy to work with through the entire process and answered all of the millions of questions I asked her before we booked. She’s very personable and makes it feel like you’ve known her for years prior. We ran into some hiccups with our originally scheduled engagement pictures and she was extremely understanding and able to accommodate rebooking us easily. We brought our dogs along for the pictures and she was extremely patient and able to involve them and we got some great shots with the two of them as well.
