8 months ago 350 classmates (and spouses) attended our Class of ‘68 50th Severna Park High School Reunion. Smokehouse was selected to cater the event from a number of contenders. The food, beverages and service truly exceeded all expectations and weeks (and months) after the event I was still getting nothing but positive comments about Smokehouse. They take no shortcuts and serve only the best food there is to be had. My son got married July of 2018; the 4th was in the middle of the week and his wedding was the 6th. We had about 110 people invited on July 7th to not only finish the events off, but to celebrate his birthday as well. Smokehouse Grill catered the even we had at the Kent Island Volunteer Fire Hall.We had a Bar-B-Que/Crab Feast; that folks still talk about going on a year later.They, (Smokehouse Grill) were there when they said they'd be, cooking, setting up, hours before the event started.The food was amazing and plentiful; of the best quality. The entire event went off without a hitch and was an beautiful end to an amazing series of events.The Smokehouse Grill staff on site that day couldn't have been more friendly, more competent, more professional if they tried. What an amazing crew!I urge anyone thinking about doing any kind of catering event in an area they service, to give them a call; the pricing is great, the food is great and their on site staff, amazing.I wish I had more upcoming events in their area; they'd be my go-to always! We have they come to our location cook, and setup for event, and they clean up. We were extremely happy with Smokehouse Grill. Tammy, her husband and the team were beyond great to work with. They were very accommodating from our initial meeting and up through our reception. We loved that the food was cooked on site and the servers did a great job setting up the food table and keeping the food coming! On to the food choices, which were amazing! In response To Rachel's Review,
She clearly admits to not reading the email sent to her. The email specifically states in order to confirm your tasting appointment you must pay the tasting fee 7 days in advance, a very simple company policy that all brides and clients have understood for the last 18 years of being in the catering industry.
It allows us to properly schedule staff and the food items required for the tasting, we are not a restaurant, we are a caterer so we order everything fresh for our tastings & events. But since Rachel chose not to read her email, she placed blame on us for not reaching out to her, to confirm why she has not made her confirmation payment....
Her emails we not of the nice nature and red flags were raised on our end. We work with multiple brides everyday and have never seen a bride act this way over a tasting appointment, so we withdrew the proposal.
As you can see she is still very unhappy and feels the need to leave a negative review with a company she knows nothing about,

Smokehouse Grill was amazing to work with. They provided all our food for the rehearsal dinner where over 200 people enjoyed a crab feast and crawfish boil. They also provided apps for cocktail hour for our wedding day. Steven and team were great to work with and I highly recommend them for any event you plan on having.
