I was completely blown away with my experience with Stacy at Simply Boudoir. I had been wanting to do this for a long time and I couldn't be more pleased with my entire experience. From booking my shoot to receiving my album, I was extremely impressed with every thing! First, the shoot its self was wonderful. I was nervous about how it would go, being half naked in from a lady with a camera is a little nerve racking but Stacy made me feel unbelievably comfortable. I've truly never felt better about myself! My boudoir shoot is the most empowering thing I've ever done. The hair and make up artist was fabulous! I seriously felt like a super model the entire time! I felt like she listened to me and captured the looks I was going for. I also loved that Stacy put her two sense in, I brought a piece of lingerie that I wasn't crazy about but Stacy convinced me to wear it and it was my favorite outfit of the day! She knows whats she's doing! When the proofs were ready to view, it was so easy to access them and pick my favorites. Stacy was very prompt with everything and she kept to her timeline! Finally, I received my album and USB, WOW! I was completely stunned with the presentation. My album was perfectly wrapped and packaged in a gorgeous box, my USB was perfectly tucked away in a beautiful little box, and she wrote me hand written card. I chose Stacey and Simply-Boudoir after an extensive search going from Wilmington to Asheville, and Charleston to Richmond. Her site was organized; you could see the superior quality of her work and professionalism right away. There were no surprises. She is clear on pricing, detailed in how you should prepare for your shoot, and accurate in how the day would go. Stacey is the BEST boudoir photographer hands down! I researched every boudoir studio I could find in the Triad, Raleigh and Charlotte areas and Simply Boudoir was an easy (and my only) choice. After having a baby I was nervous to do a boudoir shoot, but when I looked at Stacey’s photos on Simply Boudoir I knew I could do it. It was clear that she took time and care with each client to pose appropriately and accentuate everyone’s favorite body parts! It was no different with me! I’m obsessed with my photos and never thought I could look so good! Already thinking of another session. Pre-shoot: wow! Stacey was so quick to respond to all my questions and help with outfit ideas. She asked what areas I loved and what (if any) I wanted to not focus on. After my response she sent me a ton of outfit ideas and links. I purchased one of the items she recommended and I never would have discovered it without her help! Day of: I was at ease with Stacey and Grace (hair & makeup) immediately upon arriving and had so much fun with both. Grace was incredible and listened to my preferences/ideas and delivered fully. The shoot started in my most comfortable/modest outfit which was great and by the end I was down for anything! I’m usually nervous to see photos of myself, but I wasn’t at all with these. I had been wanting to do this for a while for my husband who works on the road. I was a little apprehensive of the whole process of posing in lingerie in front of a stranger, but turns out it was such a fun experience that I do again in a heartbeat! Stacey and her hair/makeup girl made me feel so comfortable and I’ve never felt more beautiful!! It was a fun girls day that I really didn’t want to end. I love that all of the women who come to the studio are so different yet share so much. They are teachers, mothers, lawyers, survivors, brides, business owners, and more...and they are all ready to celebrate their sensual side in style!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always believed in working hard and I have always wanted to help others and leave the world a little better place. I love encouraging and embracing women to celebrate themselves and their stories.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have cultivated my studio to be North Carolina's Premier Boudoir studio because I have worked full time as a boudoir only photographer for 5+ years. This means all energy goes towards my boudoir clients and helps me to educate them on boudoir, prepare for their personalized shoots and make them feel comfortable. Our studio is in a luxury loft with a lot of charm and personality. We love pampering our clients and making each lady feel the absolute best they can. We love to laugh and have FUN!
